CCD Links It Up Vol #17

Its time once again to look elsewhere around the 'Net at what others are doing and share it with all of you guys. CCD loves to Link It Up, and we know you love it when we do. We will take a look at what Chris 'King of the X-Men' Claremont has to say about the X-Men: Days of Future Past. Interesting to say the least. Check out Cal's wonderful newest Kitteh find, a cool Star Wars list of the worst stuff in the expanded universe that hopefully JJ will avoid, and amazing story about HIV being cured in a young child for the first time, and some gratuitous boobies & butt shots from our people over at The Chive. A great way to bounce around the intrawebs. Now hurry up and click Read More to get started....

1) Newsarama ran an excellent interview with Chris Claremont, who is pretty much single handily responsible for anything great that ever happened in the X-Men comics. When you are the writer on a title for 20 years, you are sure to have some opinions... and when you raise those opinions, geeks like me listen. Great read from somebody who is about as humble as you can be for a legend in the comic industry.

2) Our buddy Cal from the Canadian Cave of Cool loves the cats. He posts about them often, as well as many other cool stuff at his awesome blog. But he does the kitteh posts better than anybody, and his latest video find had me laughing hysterically at McLovin the Underwater Cat. Simple pleasures make for easy satisfaction.

3) Rob Bricken, the genius behind one of the best nerd blogs on the internet Topless Robot, pinch hits on IO9 with his insanely awesome '12 Worst Things In The Expanded Star Wars Universe'. This list is fantastic because it features typical sarcasm and sharp writing from Bricken, as well as the plain hard facts that there are at least a dozen things in the Star wars universe that are way worse than poor Jar Jar Binks & those fucking Ewoks (I hate the Ewoks way more than Jar Jar Binks by the way)!!!

4) Here is a pretty short article about the time that doctors cured HIV in an infant child. You know, that incurable disease... the one that has made Magic Johnson look healthier the longer he has been sick. Yeah that one. Holy fucking shit we have come a long way. All joking aside, this is good to hear though. let the new age of sexual promiscuity without a death sentence begin... NOW!!!!!

5) This week we get our boobie & butt fix from The Chive, and they are taking a look at some Chivettes that are bored at work. Love the real girls and the fact that they are not above going to the bathroom and dropping trough for our Internet enjoyment. Keep Calm & Chive On!!!!!

CCD Links It Up Vol #15

It is that time again folks... time to see all the other great work people around the Net are doing! I do spend a lot of MY free time creating the CCD experience, but I spend an inordinate amount of time perusing the intrawebs & intranets for some cool stories. Today you can check out some Pokemon noir in comic form (for all you Poke kids who are all grown up now!), take a look at how the Evil Dead remake just gained further approval from horror fans everywhere, get the Ipad/Iphone app that will truly bring you inside the world of Stanley Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket, check out our weekly hooties via The Chive, and buy some horror themed winter hats... all after the jump!!!!

1) Pokemon has been around for quite some time, but it is taking on a whole new life with an excellent web comic entitled Pokecenter by Ray Bruwelheide that takes a darker, more adult twist to the magical monster tale. It is very noir and looks pretty violent, and it is promised to continue... so get in on the ground floor now!!!

2) The Evil Dead remake is looking pretty fucking fantastic, and it is restoring faith to horror fans that some of the classics could be remade with some success after snoozers like Friday the 13th & the Elm St reboots. One of the reasons has to be the involvement of Sam Raimi as a producer, and him pushing the director & writer to amp up the violence factor. Well I guess they did their jobs, because /Film is reporting that the film has received an NC-17 rating for its first cut... which is awesome!!!! That means they included a bunch of nasty stuff in there to intentionally get cut and give us a nice hard R rating, which is a great start.

3)  Matthew Modine, aka Private Joker, wrote a book about the grueling experience of shooting Full metal Jacket for screen legend Stanley Kubrick. It is one of my favorite movies and Modine gave a career defining performance in the film. Well he teamed up with app developer Rackoff & some funding from Kickstarter and turned his Full Metal Jacket Diary into a complete interactive app for the Iphone/Ipad. It is 9.99, and I am going to be busy for the next few weeks...

4) Oh Chive, thank you for being you. Today's hottie gallery on The Chive comes in the form of the girls of the Redhead Rebellion. Good lord, these gingers are bringing the heat... and not just in the crotch area!!! How unbelievable is #40 (pic below)? A great gallery of chicks....

5) Even though you think it is starting to approach spring, winter is still in full effect. So if you are a horror fan like me, why not go ahead and order yourself a few horror movie themed winter hats from Inked Up Merch's Etsy shop for a mere 12.00 bucks a piece? Stay warm and retro sheek at the same damn time!!!

CCD Links It Up Vol #14

It is around that time of the week when I share a bunch of cool links with you guys from my travels around the web. You see, we make magic over here at CCD... I am aware of that. But there are plenty of other outlets around the web that are doing big and giving us some great info. We are going to stop by Cinema Blend to check out 5 movies you should really want to see this year (that are not the blockbusters we hear about over and over again), a reminder about the really cool art show going on in Brooklyn over the next few weeks, a look into the real life petition that was sent to the White House requesting that they create a Death Star and the awesome response it generated, Dungeons & Dragons joins the 21st century via the net, and the boobies... you know we gotta bring the boobies out!!!! Enjoy the links after the jump, and make sure you check back here weekly for more cool things from around the Net...

1) While we are inundated with info about movies with mega budgets and formulaic plots month after month, often times the best movies of the year fly under the radar until they are released and then get nominated for some awards. I already am hearing news about Avengers 2 (which doesn't even get released for another 2.5 years and hasn't even shot a frame yet!), but I didn't here a peep about a wonderful movie like John Dies At The End until a week before its release.  Cinema Blend lays out 5 good looking flicks for us to look for this year, and the list offers many different genre choices so there is something for everyone. I will be seeing all of these...

2) Bottleneck galleries in Brooklyn is making it happen in 2013, and this time the show they are running is celebrating all the mechanization that make the movies we love work so well. Gizmos & Gadgets take a look at all the cool technology, weapons, and robotics in movies like Ghostbusters, Alien, Inspector Gadget, Star Wars, It Came From Outer Space  and many more. The show runs till February 3rd and you can clcik here to go to their site and see what is being shown. Try to get out there and support local galleries and the pop culture artists making cool pieces. tell em Mike from CCD sent ya...

3) The White House was petitioned to build a Death Star. The petition was hysterical and can be viewed here. But the best part of this story has to be the official White House response to the request. This is absolutely fantastic. Your tax dollars at work ladies and gentleman...

4) Get in your time machines and flashback to the late 70s/early 80s and the table at which you used to play role playing games. Dungeons and Dragons is going full on digital, putting all of its manuals, rule books and modules that were ever issued online available for download. The upside: Some of these books are upwards of 30+ years old and can't be physically found anymore and now you can download them for a few bucks each. Plus they are PDFs, so you can keyword search instead of reading through pages looking for certain stuff. The downside: We can't find our old crew to raid a dungeon with!!!!

5) I'm getting a bit hungry... maybe I'll have some Asian today!!! The Chive has a killer gallery of 35 of the hottest Asian kumquats you have ever seen in your life, so if you are in mood from some Far eastern sexiness that can rock Jordans, small skimpy tops & bottoms, and do your math homework than this is the gallery for you!!!

CCD Links It Up: Vol #13

Lucky number 13... nice! here is the 13th edition of CCD Links It Up, where we share a bunch of stories that are making their way around the web but I don't feel could be made into stories here on CCD any better than how they appeared already. So I just share a few lines and the link and allow you to peruse some of the cooler sites that exist out there. This week we got an unbelievable Lindsey Lohan story, some really cool Indiana Jones themed maps, this years Oscar nominees and snubs, some boobies, and a few different opinions on the newest entry into The Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise, TCM 3D. Tons of great stuff waiting for you on the other side... lets go!!!

1) So the gang over at The Superficial have came across a report from NY Times writer Stephen Rodrick that chronicles Lindsay Lohan while she was on the set of her current movie 'The Canyons'. This film interest me a great deal, and not just because Lohan is a complete train wreck at life and is bound to imploded no matter what she does. The film was written by Brett Easton Ellis (one of my favorite authors), is directed by film luminary Paul Schrader (writer of Taxi Driver & Raging Bull, director of American Gigolo) and co stars James Deen (a male on male porn star). There is supposed to be lots of nudity, explicit sex scenes and crazy dialouge.. and apparently lindsey was a handful to everyone on the project from the casting stage on. You have to read this story if you enjoy others misery as much as I do!!!!

2) I am no fan of Philly (fuck the Eagles!) but artist Andrew Degraff has started a really cool project that turns the Indiana Jones trilogy into map form. That may sound weird, but once you check out how cool they turned out you will see why I enjoyed them so much!

3) Indiewire has a pretty cool list of all the Oscar nominees and perceived snubs. This was a great article for two reasons: 1) it came out minutes after the Oscar nominees were announced and 2) it makes really good pooints as to why the snubs got snubbed. A lot better than just sour grapes and complaining. If you nominate 5, whoever is 6th will complain. if you nominate 10, #11 will bitch and moan, So is the nature of rewarding something...

4) The Chive is back doing Gods work, this time with a gallery of 30 hot chicks in short shorts. While most of these hotties are non famous regular sexpots, a few celebs were mixed in here. Take Hayden Panitierre and her pet camel toe. Oh, and #29, are you kidding me!!!!! Thank you very much Chive... Keep Calm and Chive On!!!!!

5) Here are what I am guessing are two very differing opinions on the newest film in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre film series, Texas Chainsaw Masscre 3D, from two highly regarded (By who? By at least me of course!) members of the horror community Johnny from Freddy In Space and artist Alex Pardee. Johnny runs one of the finest horror blogs on the planet over at Freddy In Space and he seemed to really like the film. On the other hand Alex is one of the foremost artists in pop culture right now and a self professed horror film maniac, and he absolutely seemed to despise the film. I can only say that I skimmed both articles because I haven't seen the movie yet and didn't really want to spoil it for myself, but it is interesting how the film seems to be so polarizing. The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre is my all time favorite horror film and one of my earliest horror memories, so I hope I side with Johnny on this one...

Enjoy the links guys....

CCD Links It Up #12

This is the first edition of CCD Links It Up of the New year and as usual it is packed full of page hopping goodness. We got an upcoming CCD Meetup/Mike D birthday outing involving cereal, 80's cartoons, and booze on the big screen... yeah, I just typed that! We got a Top 10 list of the best films of 2012 from Roger Ebert, and like him or not the guys is the defining movie critic of a generation. Need a way to spend those holiday gift cards? We got some suggestions for you. Plus some bonus boobies and much, much more.... what are you waiting for? Get on after it by clicking on the links after the jump...

1) Nitehawk Cinema is one of the coolest movie theaters I have ever been to. Since we NYers don't have an Alamo Drafthouse to go to yet (soon... 2015!), Nitehawk is a pleasant surprise that I stumbled upon doing things similar to what they do at Alamo Drafthouse. They serve drinks and food throughout the films via waitress service, and their menu is outrageous. One of the upcoming events that they have on the agenda is Spoons, Toons and Booze. They are pairing a free cereal bar, tons of 80's cartoons, and a full complement booze for a multi hour marathon on the big screen. I have decided to use this cool ass event as a CCD meetup/birthday get together on Saturday January 19th at noon. Here is the link to the Facebook page and here is the link to official Nitehawk page to order tickets. It is first come first serve tickets, so order ahead of time because they might sell out ahead of time. Come on down!!!!!

2) Here is Roger Ebert's Top Ten Films of 2012. Not a lot of surprises on here (his #4 pick was a bit bizarre for me), but one thing stuck out to me. He named 15 'almost' movies after the Top 10, and Django was not on the list. nor was The Hobbit. Now I can see why these wouldn't make EVERY BODIES Top Ten, but they should have cracked the Top 25, no?

3) ThinkGeek is having a massive 75% off Post holiday Sale that is featuring some cool ass items. Sean Hartter is also selling 11 x 17 prints for 3 for $26 bucks. That is a great price and you can order ANYTHING he has on his website. And Tommy Lombardozzi has some killer artwork as well for sale over at his site... go order some stuff ASAP!!!

4) And now for the BOOBIES!!!! Beer Mug Sports is starting the New Year off right by naming model Kristen DeLuca the beer Mug Girl of the Month. She has boobs, a butt and a face worthy of the title. Enjoy more pics here, and these two are just a bonus...

5) We know what movies made booku bucks in 2012, but what were the LOWEST grossing movies of 2012? Slashfilm takes a look at the worst performers of the year...

CCD Links It Up: Vol #11

Today's edition of CCD Links It Up takes us on a very interesting journey. I have become completely enamored by ZergNet (you all have seen the links on the bottom of some of your favorite webpages) and their offbeat lists and stories. I am sharing a few of them with you today. Also, who knew that Vanessa Lachey was still so f'n hot? I sure didn't, and that Nick Lachey is one lucky mofo for having Jessica Simpson in her prime and now this stunning Spanish beauty. What did this cornball ever do o deserve such luck? Enjoy the links after the jump....

1) As we close in on the 70th anniversary of Casablanca, here is a cool list of 5 things that you might not know about the amazing movie. I need to watch this one again. It has been way to long.

2) I am a horror movie nut, but I have only seen 1 of the 5 movies listed on this list of must watch obscure horror movies. I do love older horror films so I will be seeking out the other four, and it is about time for me to give Near Dark a second look.

3) Good Lawd, how did Vanessa Lachey (formerly Manillo) stay this fucking hot for this fucking long? Good god, this chic is super hot and this spread is right on the money. Wowsers...

4) Tickets for CCD's collaboration with Tugg Inc to bring Bad Santa to the big screen this holiday season are on sale right now. We have to sell 70 tickets before December 13th to get the screening greenlit, so lets get cracking and buy some tickets!!!!

5) This is fantastic list of 10 movies that you should probably watch before seeing Django Unchained this Christmas. Tarantino is known for taking bits and pieces from his favorite movies and sprinkling them into his own flicks, so now you can see where the influences for his newest film came from.

6) Another great list, this one is 15 TV characters who should have been killed off of their respective shows. The reason why I like this list is because the lister takes the time to explain just why she thinks the characters should have been killed off, even if you think they were ok characters or too important to kill. Pretty cool list...

CCD Links It Up - Vol #10

It has been a while since I checked in with you guys and hit you off with some cool links to help you waste the days away at that shitty job you hate so much. Or maybe you love your job but just love you some cool ass links. Either way, you got some good stuff coming your way. You can check out the original script for Prometheus (It was a fucking prequel in every sense of the word prequel Jeff... hahaha Fletch). We got some Gangnam Style Ghostbusting, a cool ass story about Eli Roth teaching unsuspecting villagers about film with one of the most controversial cannibal movies of all time, and a look back at Sarah Wayne Calles when she was an Obscure Hot Chick of the day here on CCD (way before Prison Break finished and The Walking Dead started). It's all here folks. Enjoy after the jump...

1) Here is an interesting link to the original script that was greenlit for Prometheus by Jon Spaihts. This is what the basis of the movie that Damon Lindeloff re-wrote. This OFFICIALLY confirms what I have been saying all along to Jeff Bond that this was never intended to be anything other than a straight up prequel to the Alien franchise. No debate, no maybe but not really... IT WAS ALWAYS MEANT TO BE A FUCKING PREQUEL!!!!! there, I'm all better now...

2) It will be hard to top the Gangnman Style/Big Trouble In Little China mashup that I posted last week, but this Gangnam Style/Ghostbusters mashup is fucking fantastic. Ray Parker Jr and PSY... yeah buddy!!!

3)  Eli Roth is making a cannibal movie entitled The Green Inferno that he is promising will hearken back to the good ole days of cannibal movie like 'Cannibal Holocaust' by Ruggero Deadato. In doing so he needed to find a location to shoot where the people were sheltered and not exposed to movies and the movie making promise. He got that in a small village near the Amazon. These people never seen a film before... so he decided to break them in with Cannibal Holocaust as opposed to something a bit softer. The results are... well, read for yourself!

4) Sarah Wayne Callies has given some memorable performances in her past, from Dr. Tracentti on Prison Break to Lori on the Walking Dead. We take a look back to July 2010 when she was our obscure Hot Chick of the Day, way before zombie babies and the such... We knew she had it in her!!!

CCD links It Up - All Horror Week Edition

Since it is All Horror Week over here at CCD, you can only imagine that there are a ton of other sites running similar spooky themed posts all over the Internet. Not all of them deserve the full on individual post coverage, so you can click on some of the links below to see them at their original locations. Happy haunting...

1) A great list of the 23 oddest & strangest monsters in movie history. This is a great list... and upon further review, they have a Part 2 !!! You can view part 1 of the list here and part 2 by clicking here.

2) How to Zombie Proof your house: An infographic to help you get your house in a state that will not leave you exposed to simple threats during the Zombie Apocalypse. Now all you gotta do is keep your kids inside the house. You hear that Carl.... get in the damn HOUSE!!!!

3) 21 sexy costume choice for ladies this Halloween. I have seen sexy Freddy Kruger & secy Super Mario, but a sexy Alice from the Brady Bunch or Lorax? I don't know....

4) And while we are the topic of Halloween Costumes, why not take a look back at 150 of the best celebrity Halloween costumes over the past few years. There are some killers in here, especially anything Kim Kardashian squeezes into, heidi Klum & Seal (they are on this list damn near 20 times) or Kate Upton making any costume look sexy!!!

Are you kidding me?

5) The Monster Mash may be the most famous Halloween song of all time, but its kinda lame after 50+ years. here is a cool list of 10 harder rocking Halloween songs for you to put in rotation at your Halloween party. The Misfits FTW!!!!!

6) Ever heard a story about someone having Halloween decorations taken from the front of their house? Usually they do not end happy... but this one end up pretty cool for my boy Johnny from Freddy In Space.

CCD Links It Up Vol #9 - Comic Con Edition

The 2012 NY Comic Con is in the books, and I have come across some interesting tidbits to what is going on in the comic world. There are some great stories that I can't turn into features, so I will just share them with you here in this link column. Yup, I am to good to you guys. Enjoy the links after the jump....

1) When one thinks comics, one must think Jack Kirby. The guy is single handily responsible for co-creating the Marvel Universe alongside Stan Lee & Steve Ditko. But I had no idea he was also part of the massive Argo cover up that is the basis for the new Ben Affleck directed movie. Check out this awesome article about Kiry's involvement from the Comics Alliance that I got from my boy James West. Awesome stuff... and real life!!!

2) The ultra cool website Geeks Are Sexy has a great article about Mandy Caruso, a female Cosplayer who is quite gorgeous and sports elaborate costumes (I believe she made our Day In Pictures posts) to the 2012 NY Comic Con and fought back when she was degregated by some overweight fanboy with a web show. Mandy abused his life on camera and is getting much love on the Net for sticking up for female cosplayers... you go girl!!!! Mandy's Tumblr can be found here...

3) Very cool video behind the scenes of the 2012 NY Comic Con with the man himself, Stan Lee, by Mashable Video. The interviewer asks some interesting questions about Lee's feelings toward Cosplay and the popularity of comics in general. Great stuff....

4) Curicon is Ebay for geeks. How great is this. Comic Books. Action figures. Old video game systems. You collect it, you can sell it. It is For Geeks, by Geeks. Gotta love the idea, lets hope it catches on. It already has over 1,000 items listed for sale. Go buy something!!!

5) Darkstalkers is coming back!!!! Well, sort of. Capcom just announced Darkstalkers: Resurrection at the 2012 NY Comic Con, which is a mashup of Darkstalkers 3 & Darkstalkers Revenge. These games were awesome and now you can play all of the great characters with this downloadable game. Hopefully this is the first step towards Darkstalkers 4!!!!!!!!!

CCD Links It Up Vol #9

Whether you are sitting at work today during this rainy day in Gotham or are somewhere else around the globe, you need something to read. What better than CCD Links It Up? You know I got you guys.... click after the jump for today's set of fantastic stories to pass the day...

1) /Film has news that Disney has just stepped their game up even more by creating an actual '.edu' website for it's fictional 'Monster's University'... this is insane because '.edu' URLs are usually saved for real educational institutions, and this site sure does paint the picture of a real school.... except for all the monsters walking around.

2) So it seems like the short list for Ms. Marvel in the upcoming crop of Marvel Movies (Guardians of the Galaxy, Cap 2, Thor 2, Avengers 2) is down to two choices.... Ruth Wilson or Emily Blunt. While most people know who Blunt is (God damn she is sexy as hell), not everyone knows Wilson (who was fucking fantastic in the BBC series Luther). I am rooting for Wilson....

3) Nerd up your eyewear selection with the new series of Star Wars themed glasses. 5 characters are tapped for thsi first series, and in my opinion Boba Fett takes the cake as the best character design!

4) Stephanie Tejada is fucking fantastically sexy... don't take my word for it, just check out her sick gallery of hotness over at BeerMug Sports...

5) Bottleneck Galleries in Brooklyn is hosting a zombie themed art show right now thru October 28th. The show sounds awesome and this is the perfect time of year to host such an event, so I know I will be heading over there... how about you?

CCD Links It Up - Vol #8

So many things to share with you guys today, and so little time... unless you are at work and are trying to pass the day without doing much. So here are some wacky & wild stories to get you through your Friday. The links are after the jump...

1) Check out these two Ukrainian broads who spend their lives physically altering their appearances to look like an Anime character & Barbie... while I find this preposterous and  can't believe those are real women in the pictures, I admit that I would probably bone both of them, albeit while watching over my shoulder for a random octopus tentacle looking for it's traditional Japanamation vaginal home....

2) The Simpsons have a running gag to start their show called "The Couch Gag" that has seen many inclinations over the years. The producers of the show have used this 5 seconds to give props & nods to all types of properties & various topics, but now it seems like they are out of ideas. So they need your help... and by clicking here you can submit your own idea for a "Couch Gag" that might be aired before thsi years season finale.

3) Now that James Gunn has been tapped to direct Guardians of the Galaxy for Marvel, frequent collaborator Michael Rooker is making his case publicly for the role of Rocket Raccoon. With his upcoming return in the third season of The Walking Dead, his close relationship with Gunn, and all his voice work experience Rooker might just be the man for the job. Click here to see all of his reasons why he would be great as the destructive, diminutive rodent...

4) Terry Richardson must be Lucifer incarnate, because there is no other way to explain why celebrity women act so reckless around him. This time the pervy photog has released a set of photos that feature a topless Lady Gaga visiting Donatella Versace. Great nips... but why do these chicks want to get naked for this doof???

5) I know the late 70s/early 80s were filled with tons of celebrities using Coke, but this disturbing picture of Carrie Fisher from the set of Return of the Jedi blew my mind....

CCD Links It Up Vol #7

Whats going on around the Web you ask? No need to try and see everything... we can point you in the direction of 5 pretty amazing stories to help you pass some time. Obscure facts about The Princess Bride? Check. Huge boobs and hot nerd chicks on Tumblr courtesy of Cal? Check. Thirty movies to look forward to this Fall? Check. Promethesu Blu Ray features announced. Yup, that's here too. And a custom Star wars motorcycle to make you drool. Get in there people... your Links await after the jump....

1) Five Things you probably did not know about The Princess Bride, one of my favorite movies ever (and THE FAVORITE movie of my lovely sister in law Kate) on the 25th anniversary of the film. Interesting facts... and some great side bar type stories.

2) This was certainly a great summer for movies (Avengers & The Dark Knight Returns were top of the pops), but this Fall the movie studios are bringing the funk!!!! Screen Invasion lists the 30 most anticipated movies of the Fall, and I have to say that I am looking forward to at least 26 of them... which is more than I wanted to see this Summer!!!!

3) My main man Cal from the Cave of Cool does an excellent job scanning Tumblr for hot chicks. He often posts them in his Tumblr Girls of the Week posts. He also finds Tumblr's of hot chicks with great names, like Violent Blow Jobs, that feature hottie Sam with her huge boobs and silly faces. You do God's Work Cal... God's Work!!!!

4) /Film has a complete rundown of the Prometheus Blu Ray features. The commercial tells us "Questions Will Be ANSWERED!!!" and there is an alternate ending and beginning to the film included.   I don't know about you guys, but this sounds suspiciously like it is going to prove my point that this film was supposed to be a much more faithful prequel to the Alien franchise then it ended up being,. Jeff... I TOLD YOU!!!!!

5) Check out some really detailed pictures of a crazy cool customized BMW motorcycle done up in the style of Boba Fett. This bike is sick!!!! Great pictures of a cool custom...

CCD Links It Up Vol #6

It's that time again folks... time to make the rounds of what is popping around the Intrawebs. I think all of these stories are dope in their own right, and I know that I could not do it any better than the people who I am linking it towards. In this episode we got movie trailers, Lady Gaga in her thong, An explanation of why the fuck they killed ??? (spoilers ahead after the jump) off of Sons of Anarchy by showrunner Kurt Sutter, a kickstarter worth supporting, and how to make a magazine out of old magazine ads... Check out the links after the jump.

1)  The Best Geek Blog Ever is not where you would expect to get a great review of the 'Lincoln' movie trailer from Steven Spielberg, but they sure bring the funk. Boy does this movie look fantastic. Daniel Day Lewis, Tommy Lee Jones, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Jackie Earle Haley... did anybody get a job acting in this movie with less than three names?

2) An excellent Kickstarter for the re-mastering of Pro Pinball for a new generation of devices like Apple , Android, Kindle and other provide. As an avid pinball lover growing up, this will definitely be getting some of my dedicated geek dollars allocated to it. Hurry though, the deadline is almost here.

3) The Superficial posted some booty shot pictures of Lady Gaga posing in a thong and bra to disprove rumors floating around that she is putting on weight. I don't dig her outfits or antics to much (some of her songs are OK), but this chick certainly has a fat enough ass for a tiny little white girl. But why does she look like she is high on heron and channeling her inner Amy Winehouse in all the photos that show her face???

4) Jim Rugg posted a step by step how to manual on how he developed a magazine made up completely of old comic book ads, and boy would I love a copy of this... So fucking cool.

5) I for one was in complete shock when Opie was killed in the third episode of Season 5 of Sons of Anarchy. Here is a glimpse into the conference call that showrunner Kurt Sutter had with numerous reporters the next morning. Like Lucy, he had some 'splainin to do. I can understand what he thinks the death will motivate in Jax, but why did they have to take my favorite dude???

CCD Links It Up Vol #5

I love bouncing around the 'Net and finding cool shit to post over here at CCD, but unfortunately not everything has enough meat to turn it into a full post. That doesn't mean you shouldn't know about them, so here is where I will link you to some great stuff. Today we get a plethora of hot red heads, A NY Comic Con reminder, a star wars fan made anime, and even more goodness... Click after the jump for the links of the day!!!!

1) The gang at The Chive always bring the hotties in their picture posts, but in this collection we get a tribute to the current trend in hot women hitting the web REDHEADS!!!! I know my man Cal will be happy with this gallery (unfortunately no Hattie Cal... meh)

2) Alison Pill was one of the greatest cast members on The Newsroom, which was my favorite show of the summer. She also recently tweeted a topless picture of herself to the whole world on accident while wearing sexy glasses. Yup, she is my new favorite actress...

3) College Humor is back with a sick 8 bit video game walkthrough of The Wire. Yup, I would play the shit out of Omar as a character, especially if he could blow guys after robbing drug dealers..... wait, what??? LOL....

4) /Film's video of the day is a fan made Star Wars Anime that features a sick space battle. Check it out...

5) My boy Johnny over at Freddy In Space (the best horror blog around) and artist Frank Browning re-created some vintage Halloween costumes in their original boxes with some more modern characters. These are freaking awesome, original and can't be seen anywhere else....

CCD Links It Up Vol #4

Hey kids... another day, more cool links for you to check out. Some cool ass products, hot chicks, T Shirts and even more from your favorite gang over here at CCD. Hope you enjoy. Links after the jump...

1) Han Solo in carbonite baking tray? Yes please! I can't wait to make brownies or a cake in this mother... and for only 14.95? Yup, I'm buying this one for sure.

2) Probably the coolest Escape From NY T-Shirt I have ever seen. 25 bucks is a bit steep, but for this cool of a T-shirt is worth it. They also make 3X, for all you big nerds out there like me...

3) One of the many hats I don in my professional career is that of a private security guard for Citadel security, who provide security services for high end events like NYC Fashion Week, art gallery openings, antique shows, and NY Comic Con. My buddy Matt Hogan got interviewed by NPR during our latest stint at NYC Fashion Week just this past week, and the interview can be found here. Check out what I do when I am not looking at Fan Art, staring at boobies, and entertaining all of CCD's readers on the Internet.

4) Sean Harrter has a newly re-designed website. Same great artwork, just a new look to the layout that makes his work seem that much cooler. Not only is the guy a friend, but his work is more ambitious and keeps getting better with each piece he posts. Plus he is available for commissions. Hop to it!!!!!!

5) Finally... boobie time!!!!! Thanks to the gang over at Beer Mug Sports or bringing Valerie Mason to my attention. At 105 pounds with Double Ds, yup boobies are her middle name! Check out her spread here...

CCD Links It Up - Vol #3

Click after the jump to read some really cool stories from around the Internet. CCD gets name dropped by one of my favorite artsits during an interview, Terry Richardson is back to his old pervert ways,

1) Sean Hartter, my good friend and artist extraordinaire, has done a pretty cool interview with the blog 13 Shots of Grit where he discusses all sorts of fun things like what inspires him and his art projects, what Tv shows & movies he digs, and even drops us here at CCD a humble shout out. We have gone worldwide baby (the blog is European...lol). Head over there and leave some supportive comments for my boy...

2) Terry Richardson is a scumbag sleezeball celebrity photographer, but he is our favorite scumbag sleezeball celebrity photographer... he is back with another photospread of candid shots, this time taking on Lady Gaga. Thanks to The Superficial for keeping up on the lowlifes of Hollywood...

3) And speaking of Terry Richardson.... Never forget... Never forget!!!! Thank me later guys...

4) With the NFL & College football season ready to kick off and Baseball season winding down, you need to get over to Cool Fan Jerseys to  meet all your authentic sport jersey needs for relatively cheap prices. I have bought from the site, trust me you won't be disappointed!!!

5) In other get fresh clothing news, Nike & Jordan Brand are offering some awesome new customizable models of sneakers on the Nike ID website. You can make your own one of a kind pair of sneakers, including popular models like the Spiz'ike's, Jordan 1's, High Top Dunks, and Air Max 90s. Unreal... make yourself a cool ass pair with a cool theme, like my classic 1997 Air Max that I made a few years back in honor of my favorite TV show, Lost...

Check out Hurley's Numbers on the tongue.... Yup, I'm a pimp!!!

CCD Links It Up Vol #2

Click after the jump to see more of whats happening around the Internet. These stories are all cool as hell in their own way, but couldn't make up a whole post here on CCD on their own. Enjoy....

1) The gang at Topless Robot picks out their Top 20 pieces of art from the Crazy 4 Cult NYC artshow. We attended the show and posted our pics here, but I like most of the selections that TR featured in their list and some of them are from the side of the gallery that we could not get to cause it was blocked off. I will be going back this Wednesday, so hopefully I will have some better pictures for you guys.

2) Great article over at /Film about a Stanley Kubrick Retrospective that is taking place out in LA. Just another reason why I hate my west coast peeps who get to enjoy wonderful events like these while we here in NYC get shut out. KMG, get over to this and check it out!!!!

3) My new go to site for hot chicks in very little clothing is Beer Mug Sports. This week I am currently entralled with their 'Mug Shots' of the stunning creature known as Sidoni Biermont. I don't know what her nationality is, but all I know is that Sidoni must mean 'Creature I want to ride for hours' in her native language!!!!

4)  Check out this 'Introduction to Judge Dredd' video from Yahoo to get you ready for the upcoming Dredd 3-D featuring Karl Urban. The article also features a ringing endorsement from the creator of the character itself, John Wagner, and he is as outspoken as they come. If it's good enough for him, it will probably be fine by me...

5) Shawn S. Lealos publishes a really cool article over at 411mania about who owns the film rights to which Marvel properties. It is very in depth and full of cool tidbits, but left me with only one question. Why the fuck is 411mania's website such a fucking mess, all disorganized and looking like shit? This is a site that has sponsorship from major chains like Kohl's, yet it features a shitty white backdrop and it's content is arranged like an absolute horror show. get your shit together 411mania...

CCD Links It Up - Vol #1

I surf the 'Net alot, but not every cool ass thing that I come across can be turned into a CCD post. So I am starting a post where I can include a few cool ass links that you may be interested in. These tidbits are really cool and if you like what we do on CCD then you are sure to like them. Tell them that Mike CCD sent ya!!!! Enjoy the links after the jump...

Just click the highlighted link to read the story:

1) IO9 has a list of 10 comic characters that are cooler than Batman. I don't think that is possible to have a character that is cooler than Batman, but the list is good none the less.

2) Sticking with the Batman theme, here is an insane infographic that chronicles over 70 years of The Batman and was posted over at Fanboy.

3) Check out the hotness that is model Sydney Barlette by checking out her modeling page here and her gallery over at Beer Mug Sports by clicking here.

4) Get in on the fun and organize a Tugg movie event in your area. Tugg is a service that allows you to pick from the movies they offer (over 600) and schedule a screening of the film at local theaters around the country. See some classics and some newer flicks (the selection is great) at your local AMC and other theaters by setting up a screening right now. (CCD is sponsoring a few of these in the future. Stay tuned for details).

5)  So apparently Jean Claude Van Damme is all about making sure that all of his roles are completely accurate to the original source material, because when he played Guile in the Street Fighter movie he was banging a then 22 year old Kylie Minogue (the pop singer played Cammie in the film). I don't know whats crazier, the fact that these facts are just getting aired now 20 years later or the fact that Minogue slept with The Muscles From Brussels after watching him butcher lines all day on that movie set
