The Land of Oz vs Oz the Prison: An Infographic Comparing The Two...

I saw the Sam Raimi Oz film this weekend and I must say that I was truly impressed. I really liked the way Raimi brought the world of L Frank Baum to life on the screen, with all the visual mastery that we have come to expect from him. But I used to be in love with a different land of Oz... that of the Oswald State Correctional Facility, or OZ from the HBO hit series. That Oz was a bit different... you know, all the raping Aryans and killer inmates kind of make those witches seem a bit passe. I came across this really cool infographic over at Vulture that compares the two lands of Oz and found it quite funny. Hope you guys enjoy it...

Everything You Ever Need To Know About The 'Die Hard' Franchise Of Movies

Like it or not, John McClane just won't go away. 25 years ago Bruce Willis brought the tough as nails cop turned hero to the big screen and we have seen 4 incarnations of him along the way. As we are in the midst of the 5th release in the film series, Collider decided to team up with 20th Century Fox to create a infographic poster each of the films in the series, detailing all the great stuff that McClane does from soup to nuts. The kill counts, the bad guys, the amazing physical feats and activities that Bruce Willis performs throughout the series... its all there. Before you take on the 5th installment of the movie, take a look down memory lane to remember just how sick of a franchise it is based on. Enjoy the posters after the jump....

What Is Your Favorite Christmas Movie?

Earlier this month I noticed a new sub column on Netflix Instant entitled Holiday Favorites. it featured some great Christmas movies such as Christmas Vacation, The He-Man & She-Ra Christmas Spectacular, and A Nightmare Before Christmas. Now I love Christmas movies just as much as the next person... but how do my faves stack up against the top grossing Christmas movies of the past 30 or so years? Confused.com set out to answer that question with a very cool infographic that highlights the amount of money that these Christmas movies have made. it also includes the Rotten Tomato critic scores as well as the audience scores for these holiday classics. how do your favorites stack up? Check out the full infographic after the jump, and have the hap, hap, happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tapped danced with Danny Fucking Kay (wink, wink)...

The United States of Scary Things

Here is a very cool infographic from the gang over at Pleated Jeans highlighting the scariest things to come out of each state in the union. Some of these are legit scary things (like Ted Bundy & Jeffrey Dahmer), but some of them are pretty hilarious (Four Horseman of the Kentucky Derby? That is awesome!). It is pretty cool to check out what each state has to worry about the most. Check out the infographic after the jump...
