What Would Be Some Of The Titles of Harry Potter Books If They Followed Him Into His Adult Life?

There has been a recent uptick in interest in Harry Potter books once again due to JK Rowling announcing a spin off book series set in the same universe and her publishing a short story set in the Potter-verse over at the Potter-More website. People want more of Harry & his gang, and they want it now. But JK Rowling would have a ton of pressure trying to follow up what is widely considered a perfectly wrapped up series of 7 books. So the gang over at SomeEcards thought it would be cool of them to mock up some covers for adventures that a middle age Harry might go through. These are pretty amazing, and the truth is that these real life situations might be real struggles that a grown up wizard may actually go through. The Wolf Of Gilligan's Island

Just when you think that parody mash up videos can't get any better... you get something like this! The Wolf of Wall Street was a great film, and its ad campaign leading up to its release was even better. The company used Kanye West's recently released 'Black Skinhead' at the time to score the commercials for the movie, and it was a pretty great pick of a song. So what happens when you mash that music up with clips from the original Wolf of Wall Street himself, Thurston Howl the III? You get an interesting mash up entitled "The Wolf of Gilligan's Island"! And interesting mix that works out extremely well. VKMTV Studios did a good job with this one... check out the video after the jump.

Mario Seinfeld - A Parody About Nothing by Esquire Bob Animations

I am always down to watch a quick animation clip, especially one that involves my favorite plumber of all time. But throw in a tie in to the greatest sitcom ever, and you got my two minutes. Animator Esquire Bob has a very well stocked Youtube page loaded with cool ass shit, but his Mario Seinfeld clip has got to be the crown jewel in the crown. Its great.... specifically because the casting is spot on. George would definitely be Toad, and Kramer is a great Luigi. But the best casting choice of all: Newman as Bowser !!! Your princess is in another borough !!! Lol. This is really funny. I hope to see more of them in the future. Check out the full clip after the jump...

'The Lord of the Crumbs' - A Hobbit x Sesame Street Collaboration

Sesame Street has been educating and entertaining children for over 40+ years, and the way they stay relevant is by taking the pulse of what is popular in the world and relating it to the children they are targeting with their programming. They have done so for years, and continue to do so in epic fashion. In honor of the upcoming release of The Hobbit 2: The Desolation of Smaug, Cookie Monster takes a trip to Middle Earth in The Lord of the Crumbs! Check out this awesome collaboration video that features Gandalf, Galadriel, and many other familiar facets of J. R. R. Tolkien's epic adventure. Sesame Street keeps it going once again... enjoy!

Wolverine: A Film by Woody Allen

Parody has existed forever. It is the easiest understood comedy that exists (because people automatically related it to the original source material) but it could also be extremely hard to pull off. You gotta make sure that you don't go to obscure and that your material finds the mark. The dudes over at Official Comedy have got this down to a science. Check out there latest example of awesome parody: Wolverine - A Film by Woody Allen. In this short they re-imagine the Canadian hot head super hero as an eccentric Brooklynite dealing with his insecurities. The dialogue is insane... it's like we are watching Sleeper or Manhattan on superhero steroids. They even through in a Diane Keaton-esque Rogue to balance out the screen time in order to get a true Woody experience onto the screen. Well played... Check it out after the jump.

Batman is a cultural icon, and clearly he is going to be a hot commodity when it comes to parody videos. Nobody does Batman pardoy like College Humor, and this time they are taking on the soon to be iconic scene from The Dark Knight Rises which reveals Thalia Al Ghul to be the real villain. But Batman has a few concerns about his new foe... most notably, how the hell could she sexify him so good if she just wanted to kill him. This video is just hilarious. Lo Pan Style... Lo, Lo, Lo... Lo Pan Style!!!

Big Trouble In Little China is not usually considered to be a horror movie... but in my personal opinion it should be. There are a few reasons why I think this is so. First off, the director of the film is Master of Horror himself John Carpenter. That gives it automatic horror cred, even if there is no Captain Kirk mask wearing psycho with a butcher knife. But once you delve into the film itself, you find many examples of horror. Ancient Chinese demons? Check. Mythological weather warriors named Thunder, Rain, and Lightening? Check. The Chinese Wild Man Yeti creature that is there to take on Jack Burton at the Wing Kong Exchange? Double Check. The flying Head of Eyes monster that provides Lo Pan with a view of anything it sees? Yup. And finally Lo Pan himself, all 2,000 years of him? Well, if those aren't enough monsters to make this a horror movie, than I don't know what it is! Anyway, now that we qualified this as a horror flick and justified its inclusion here on All Horror Week,  lets move on to the best Gangnam Style parody ever made. Yup... Lo Pan style!!! This is so well done, including a cameo by the original Lo Pan himself (James Hong) and a musical interlude with Jack Burton himself... wow, let the children of the 80s rejoice! 'Ghost Tits'- Now This Is The Film That I Want To See Olivia Munn In!!!

No one will ever question if we love Olivia Munn over here at CCD. Trust me, no one gets more love than my beloved Asian kumquat on my site. But she is getting better and better in her role on The Newsroom over at HBO and her movie The Babymakers is getting great reviews, so we will probably being seeing much more from her as a lead actress in the future. Why not tackle a Shyamlan/Hitchcock/Kubrick-esque noir thriller in which her beloved rack of boobage happens to disappear thanks to a possessed polka dot bra? This parody video comes from the fine folks over at Above Average and is pretty hysterical. It also features Mr. Feeney from Boy Meets World, so there is that. I love the little subtle nods to psychological thrillers of the past such as the "closing door" shots and the "screaming and twirling in a circle" shots. 'The Dark Knight Rages' - Does Batman Ever Game Rage?

I love all the Batman fan video that have been hitting the Net in the wake of the release of The Dark Knight Rises. They have been awesome, and vary from gritty fan films (Batman: Nightwing) to awesome stop motion films featuring toys (Batman: Dark Knightfall) to awesome parody music videos like Remember Bane... They are all one better than the next. But today's entry brings us one of the more humorous ones I have seen so far. Check out The Dark Knight Rages after the jump, which takes a look at what really happens back at Wayne Manor with Robin when they are trying to kick back and relax a bit. The results are priceless....

Black & Yellow: The Baratheon Edition

Parody videos are not always good, but when they have a clever concept and are executed effectively they can be epic. This is the case when it comes to Backflip Wilson's 'Black & yellow: The Baratheon Edition'. They take Wiz Khalifa's popular song that gave props to his hometown of Pittsburgh & flip it (see what I did there? Backflip Wilson "flipping" the track? Damn I'm good at this writing stuff!!!!) and use it to rain props down upon one of the more powerful houses in George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice & Fire series. Brothers Stannis, Renly, and Robert are all representing 'The Stag' hard body on this one, killing it with lines like "No Lions & Dragons... better refill my flagon". This is great fun for any fan of Game of Thrones. Enjoy the film after the jump.

Christopher Walken Reads "Where The Wild Things Are" & I Promptly Faint Due To A Brain Hemorrhage From Hysterical Laughter!!!!

After last years release of  "Go The F@#k To Sleep" as read by Samuel Jackson helped elevate the book to huge sales numbers, it was only a matter of time before the parodies would start rolling in. Youtube users Randumbify  have come correct with this new video that features an actor doing a Christopher Walken impression reading "Where The Wild Things Are". Now fans of the book know that there are not to many words in the original text, but you have to hear the crazy analysis of the pictures from Walken as he breaks down his version of what is happening with Max in the pages of the story. This is the best 10 minutes I have ever spent in my life watching a Youtube clip, and it takes me back to the great Walken speeches of Pulp Fiction (He hid it in the only place he knew they wouldn't find it.... up his ass!) & True Romance (Your a cantaloupe!!!). Fantastic video... give this a watch immediately!!!!



 

Get These Muppet Movies Made!!!!

Wow... wow. I have come across a few of these proposed movie posters from the gang over at The Old Red Jalopy for movies featuring the Muppets that I would love to see, but since they are so good I felt the need to share them all with you guys here at CCD. The Hot 97 Morning Team Make Their Own Thanksgiving Song

I am a huge fan of K Foxx, Cipha Sounds & Peter Rosenberg aka the Hot 97 morning show squad here in NYC. These guys make me cry at least once a day, and it is always the unexpected stuff that really gets me. This is one of those moments. Check out Cipha & Rosenberg remixing Drake's smash song "Headlines" with a Thanksgiving spin... one of the better parodies I have seen in awhile. I_Mandy Takes Beyonce's 'Halo' And Makes A Great Harry Potter Fan Vid, 'Hallows'

This is one of the better Fan Videos that I have seen in my many hours perusing the Internet. It really works with the music that was picked for a background, the lyrics are funny and go with the topic, and it doesn't hurt that Mandy over here is a bit of a looker (she is like the Cindy Crawford of chicks making fan videos.. some of these broads are hideous!). If you are fan of the Potter universe, this is a must watch for you. if you hate Harry Potter... well, you can still mute the video and watch Mandy bouncing around for a few minutes with her ample cleavage. There are worse things you can see for three minutes... trust me, I do this EVERYDAY!!!

Ferris Bueller: 25 Years Later!!!

There has been some buzz around the net that there is a sequel in the works for one of the greatest teenage movies ever, Ferris Bueller's Day Off. The John Hughes classic should never be touched and must avoid the remake/sequel trend that we are going through right now. I really don't want to see a 50 year old Inspector Gadg... er, I mean Matthew Broderick, running around getting into mischief. That magic can't be duplicated it again.


With that being said, this skit from comedy troupe Sidecar Comedy shows us exactly what a day in the life of Mr. Bueller would be like 25 years since his reign over Chicago. This is a much more realistic look at what he would probably be going through. Pretty funny stuff:

Tara Reid Plays EVERYBODY In 'The Big Lebowski Pt. 2'

A few months back, Tara Reid gave some drunk rambling on how she was looking forward to the start of filming on 'The Big Lebowski Pt. 2'. She couldn't wait to get cracking... trouble was, nobody else remotely new what the fuck she was talking about. Not the John Goodman, not Jeff Bridges, and definitely not the Coen Brothers. This lead to more redicule for the down and out Reid.... so what did she do? She teamed up with Funny or Die to make her version of 'The Big Lebowski Pt. 2'.
