What Would Be Some Of The Titles of Harry Potter Books If They Followed Him Into His Adult Life?

There has been a recent uptick in interest in Harry Potter books once again due to JK Rowling announcing a spin off book series set in the same universe and her publishing a short story set in the Potter-verse over at the Potter-More website. People want more of Harry & his gang, and they want it now. But JK Rowling would have a ton of pressure trying to follow up what is widely considered a perfectly wrapped up series of 7 books. So the gang over at SomeEcards thought it would be cool of them to mock up some covers for adventures that a middle age Harry might go through. These are pretty amazing, and the truth is that these real life situations might be real struggles that a grown up wizard may actually go through. Emma Watson Is All Grows Up On The Cover Of GQ UK....

I have loved Emma Watson ever since I first saw her in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone way back in 2001. But back then I loved her because she was an adorable fresh faced young actress playing my favorite character from the book. She was like 11, super cute, and perfectly caste as the super nerd Hermoine. But now here we are 12 years later, she is 22, and boy has she grown up!!! Now a sexy young starlet in the making, Watson is following up last years sleeper hit The Perks of Being A Wallflower with Sofia Copola's The Bling Ring, and she is looking very sexy doing it. Here she is on the cover of British GQ, dressed as her character from the movie. I am totally intrigued. I love the Julia Robert's style Pretty Woman hooker dress, and I am left to wonder if that star trail tattoo is real or fake for the movie. There are only two pics from this article (damn you GQ... Damn you!), and I have included them after the jump. Good to see things come full circle for the lovely Watson. Can't wait to see how her career goes from here...

Lego Hogwarts

God knows how much we love the Legos around here on CCD... ain't that right Jeffery Bond? And as a huge Harry Potter fan, I have to admit that I geeked out a bit when I came across this video on the internet. I am becoming a big fan of these big scale Lego builds, and I especially love the time lapse perspective that is used to illustrate just how long these massively intense major builds could take. Harry Potter Supercut - Just the Spells!!!

Harry Potter is the most successful movie franchise of all time (financially anyway) and since there were 8 movies there is approximately a full days (close to 24 hours) of screen time. When you have that much screen time about a school of Wizards, there are bound to be some magical spells uttered. So of course someone decided to do a Supercut of Harry Potter, featuring just the spells. Now I know this is long at around 17 minutes, but I think it is great seeing Ron, Hermoine, and Harry as little 11 year olds from the earlier films. Such a great franchise... you can see the clip after the jump.

Hermione Granger Is All Grows Up!!!

Wow... wow. When we first met Emma Watson she was 9 years old and playing the female lead in the first Harry Potter movie. Now she is a 22 year old woman and is about to break out as a sexy starlet!!! The first project we will see her in will be 'The Bling Ring', and she is sporting some short shorts, a tiny tube top, some sky high heels, and some really slutty body art that I hope is truly hers!!! And I Said To Myself... What A Wonderful World!!!!

People get attached to the settings in every type of entertainment they consume,whether it is movies, books, video games, comics or anything else. The setting is so key to the background story that it often overshadows a majority of characters in the work, save for the most important characters. I mean, think how much more you remember about Hogwarts as opposed to the literally 100s of non main characters in the 7 books by J.K Rowling. Or how about the fact that after 20 years I can still remember how to navigate Hyrule when I downloaded Zelda on my Wii, yet forgot ALL of the 8 final bosses names in the game except for level 9 baddie Ganon? The setting can often make the story what it is and be the driving force in a work of fiction. With that being said, this is the most complete map of fantasy lands that I have ever seen. I have not been able to locate the creator of this map (I hate not creating brilliance) but all the links I am finding around the web seem to go back to the I WASTE SO MUCH TIME blog. So check them out cause their blog is cool and seems to be pretty chill. Tell em CCD sent ya! Since both franchises offer an immense amount of side characters as well as starring roles, one can only imagine that there would be some overlap.
