Mike D's Favorite 2013 Super Bowl Commercials

I have a longstanding tradition of being a monstrous football fan, so the Super Bowl is always really important to me regardless of who the teams playing are. But lets be honest. As a pop culture junkie and TV aficionado extraordinaire, I am also a huge fan of the TV commercials that accompany the game as well. I am going to share my faves with you from this year, in no particular order. All the commercials were great, but these are the ones that stood out to me... enjoy my picks after the jump!

Hyundai Santa Fe - Team - Some bullies steal a kids ball and tell him to get some back up if he wants it back... and when he comes back, things get interesting!

Dorito - Goat For Sale - Guy gets a pet goat that eats Doritos, and its a dream come true... or is it?

Cars.com - Wolf - Things go very smooth while purchasing a car for a couple, so the Cars.com dealer helps them with some complications...

Volkswagen - Get Happy - VW taps reggae legend Jimmy Cliff and some of the maddest people to ever be in viral videos to come on and get happy with the cars of VW....

Two Broke Girls Spectacular - Promo - A sexy commercial with the 2 Broke Girls... for no reason!

Mio Fit - Tracy Morgan 'Change' - Tracy Morgan extolling the history of change in America

NFL - Leon Sandcastle - Neon Deon Sanders shows the rookies he still got it...

Oreo Cookie 'Whisper Fight' - Bookworms get into a war of words over which is the best part of the Oreo cookie

Toyota Rav 4 'Wish Granted' - Kaley Cuoco is a genie who grants individual wishes to a family of four...each with a twist!

Doritoes 'Fashionista Daddy' - A father and his sportster pals get suckered into a princess party with his young daughter.

'Leon Sandcastle' - Deon Sanders hits the NFL draft circuit in disguise.

Time Warner Cable Walking Dead 'Clean Up' - A mom does the household chores around her own personal zombie apocalypse.

KIA 'Babylandia' - A father tries to soften the tale of where babies come from for his inquisitive child.

Tide 'Miracle Stain' - 49ers fan becomes a local celebrity when the salsa stain on his jersey bears a striking resemblance to a certain Hall of Fame quarterback.

Hope you enjoyed them all....

Kate Upton x Mercedes Benz Super Bowl Ad... Yup!

I just came across an leaked version of the Mercedes Benz collaboration with sexy ass Kate Upton for the new CLA car that will run during the Super Bowl. It involves a sexy car, sexy ass Kate, some short shorts... all the makings of a classic ad. But Mercedes dropped the ball a bit, as much as they could in a commercial starring Kate Upton's boobs in a tank top. First mistake, those sandals. Put her in some 6 inch stilettos asap. Second mistake, Kate needs to be washing that car.Is that predictable? Sure... but Kate is a dirty girl and needs to clean up! Finally, what is with the jean shorts and tank top? This girl is a bikini model... the BIKINI MODEL! Please get her in a bikini!!! Well, with those errors withstanding it is still a hot commercial. Check it out about two weeks early after the jump...

Check Out The Peta Super Bowl Commercial That You Weren't Allowed To See

What country is this, Afghanistan? Peta is known for pushing the boundaries wit there ads and they definitely did with this spot promoting a vegetarian lifestyle. How could this not make it pass the NFL & network TV censors? What is so bad about this commercial? Check out the video after the jump and tell me why you think it was banned in the comment section below...

An Excellent Parody Of The VW Darth Vader Super Bowl Commercial

This is a very cool parody of the VW Darth Vader Super Bowl commercial mashed up with the recent acceleration troubles Toyota has been going through. This is well done. I love the force choke being applied to the mom... nice touch. Enjoy.
