My main man Cal from the Great White North sent me a crazy batch of pics featuring one of my favorite young actresses, Amber Heard. I have featured pics of her before (back when she was an Obscure Hot Chick) and I think she is absolutely gorgeous, so it really was a no-brainer for me to run this post immediately. I like the fact that Ms. Heard is rocking some crazy curls in these pics, a stark contrast to her usual straight hair. But let's be honest, I'm not really concerned with this beauties hair. She is a total package and deserves some love, so lets hear your comments. Thanks for the pics Cal! See the gallery after the jump...

Jesus Nazarenuz Fattens Up The Men Of Steel
I have featured Jesus Nazarenuz's fat superhero creations before here on CCD (click here to see the old post) and was pleasantly suprised to get a comment from the man himself last week. Seems Jesus got wind of us running his stuff (a few months after the fact) and he was really thankful. But the coolest thing he did was tip us off to the gallery of fat Supermen that he assembled over on his Deviant Art page (click here to see his gallery). He chronicled every actor who has held the mantle of the Man of Steel, from Kirk Alyn (star of the first Supes serials) to Henry Cavill (the upcoming Zack Snyder Superman film). they are wonderful, so you should check them out after the jump. Drop Jesus a line, and tell him the gang over at CCD sent you. Stay chubby Clark...

Amazing Spider Man #50 Gets A Drive Re-Design By Artist Nick Felvideki
The Amazing Spider Man #50 and it's cover by John Romita are legendary to all comic book geeks around the world. It is one of the most iconic covers ever. But given that everyone EXCEPT Oscar nominee voters has been completely obsessed with Ryan Gosling's portrayal of the stunt man in Drive, artist Nick Felvideki decided to incorporate this into his re-design. The results are epic. Seriously, how the fuck was Drive not nominated for Best Picture. At the very least Christina Hendricks should have been nominated for Best Juggs in an Dramatic Performance... wait, what??? Click after the jump for the original and Felvideki's re-design...

Commercially Acclaimed Vol #24 - Nike Fuel Band
TV commercials are a part of our everyday lives as TV viewers. Even though Tivo and DVR have allowed us to "skip through" the commercials, the advertising companies are still trying to peak our interests by coming up with creative commercials. To me, great commercials are an art form and are under appreciated by a society that is always trying to speed through things. Think about it... how many times did you see a great commercial that made you laugh hysterically or want to go out and purchase the advertised product??? And how many times has the best part of the Super Bowl been the commercials during a blow out game??? Whether you want to admit it or not, commercials are cool as shit... and here are some of my favorites.
This weeks ad comes to us from the geniuses over at Nike. It is being used to promote the Nike Fuel Band, which is a new product that tracks our activity throughout the day. In order to illustrate which activities will generate positive energy readings on the Fuel Band, they choose to highlight multiple scenes from cinematic history & past Nike Commercials. Any commercial that can squeeze The Big Lebowski, Twin Peaks, Amadeus, The Warriors, Monty Python, Scott Pilgrim vs The World, Scooby Doo, Ghost Dog and Slap Shot clips into one commercial has got to be amazing. This one certainly is! Enjoy the commercial after the jump...
