So These Are The Character Posters For 'The Expendables 2'... ALL 12 OF THEM!!!

'The Expendables' was an excellent foray into the action genre, mainly because it featured a plethora of older action stars coming together to make a kick ass film. Since it was so much fun, highly regarded by both fans & critics alike, and made crazy cash... well,it was only a matter of time before a sequel was shot. Director Simon West did just that, and in just two short summers we have 'Expendables 2'. Not only are the mainstays from the original back (Sly, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Randy Couture, and Terry Crews, Bruce Willis, Arnie, etc), they have added some powerhouse action stars of the past (Chuck Norris, Jean Claude Van Damme) & some new bloods (Liam Hemsworth, Yu Nan) as well. It's gonna be epic... a great way to close out the Summer of 2012 movie season when it comes out on August 17th. Catch ALL 12 character posters after the jump....

'Batman: The Kill' - A Fan Film by Super Group Productions

Batman is long been the key characters that seem to fall into Fan Films. I don't know exactly why this is, but boy am I glad that people keep putting Mr. Wayne into these cool ass features. Take 'The Kill' from Super Groups Productions for example... no Joker or Penguin here. This one features some hard hitting villains like Mr.Zsaz, Black Mask, Hugo Strange, and the Scarecrow plaguing the Bat, and it is so well done it will it will be a good holdover until Nolan's last chapter comes out this summer. Shaun of the Dead Movie Poster by William Henry

Shaun of the Dead is one of my all time favorite flicks. Edgar Wright killed it. So did Simon Pegg & Nick Frost. Anytime I see a new take on artwork for the film, I am going to get excited and probably post it here on CCD. Why? Because I can... and because Shaun of the Dead is just rad enough to warrant constant posts... Catch the full size poster from William Henry after the jump...

Happy Munn-Day!!!

Happy Munn-Day!!! This week we check in with our little Asian wildflower as she becomes the spokesman for the Sharp Magazine for Men's Ipad App. She is a perfect spokesman for a Men's mag, considering how much wood this chick truly induces on a regular daily basis. Just try not to damage the bottom of your Ipad when the eventual boner ensues.... click after the jump for the promo shots.

The Moment I Fell In LOVE!!!!

Urkel Bot Vs. Mega Skreech by Marco D'Alfonso

Marco D'Alvonso has a knack for taking something that may be vaguely familiar to us and make us feel like it hasn't been 20 years since we have seen it. Case in point: he makes a awesome fight poster promoting a battle between Urkel Bot (aka Steve Urkel from Family Matters) vs Mega Skreech (aka Skreech from Saved By The Bell). This is the Real Steel movie I would love to see... click after the jump to see the full size picture of the pieces.

Hellboy by Sean Hartter

Sean Hartter is back at it again with another Alternate Universe Movie Posters, this time for a Hellboy movie that would star Bo Svenson as Big Red and a supporting cast of Christopher 'Count Dooku' Lee, Britt 'Amazing Boobs' Ekland, & Lee J Cobb!!! Not to mention being produced by William Peter Blatty & directed by Jesus Franc... I would watch the hell out of this flick. Damn Sean, you gotta stop... your killing 'em over here!!!! The 'Despicable Me 2' Teaser Trailer Has Me Fiending For Banana's & Minions!!!!

Despicable Me was one of the most surprising animated movies I had ever seen. I thought it would be cool, but the film ended up being quite awesome on many different levels. Besides the awesome soundtrack courtesy of Pharrell & the killer performance by Steve Carrell, my favorite part of the movies would have to be The Minions. These little yellow baddies make the film. So it is no surprise that they have been rolled out to compile a teaser trailer. If you haven't seen this yet, you are sure to love this musical number. But if you are like me and have seen it, you will want to watch it again and again!!! Despicable Me 2 is out in 2013.Enjoy it after the break.... and put that party noisemaker down asap!!!!!

6 Cool Entries From The 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter' Art Contest

'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter' is about to be hitting theaters this summer and in order to drum up some interest for the film the gang from the movie are running an art contest over at the movies Facebook page. The winner  of the contest gets to screen the movie at midnight by themselves, and the other top 4 contestants get a signed poster from Tim Burton!!!I sent this over to CCD's favorite artist Tommy Lombardozzi, and hopefully he is hard at work on his entry RIGHT NOW (GET ON THAT SON!!!). Here are some of my faves from the ones that have been submitted so far. check them out after the jump. The contest ends on May 12th, so hurry up and enter by clicking here...

Disney's Newest Short Film 'Paperman' Gets A Poster

Disney has been making some killer short films to compliment their cinematic releases in the past few years. There have been a few Toy Story ones as well as the very cool Day & Night that was attached to Toy Story 3. These shorts hearken back to the old days of going to the cinema and seeing a bit more than just the main feature. Well the crew over at the Mouse House are at it again, this time delivering 'Paperman' in front of Disney's upcoming feature 'Wreck It Ralph'. The short is made in black & white and has a rough feel to it that intrigues me. An official poster has been released, and it gives us a glimpse as to what to expect in terms of the look of the film. I personally can't wait to see it. Click after the jump to see the poster...

Thanks to/Film for the tip...

All The Easter Eggs From The Modern Marvel Movies That Have Hinted Towards 'The Avengers' In One Awesome Clip

Marvel has been building towards the release of 'The Avengers' over the past few years since the release of Iron Man. They have added little odds & ends into Iron Man, Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, and Captain America to help build the story and lay the foundation for the most epic team up movie in history. But there is much more stuff in the above films than the after the credit cameos. Youtube user Lucafon18 compiled all of the hidden goodies into one cool clip for your viewing pleasure.  It is a great way to get ready for May 4th.... Avengers Assemble!!!

Avengers '78

Wow. Just wow. I watch millions of clips a week and see plenty of fan made trailers that make me smile because they are mildly clever. If I get a bit of a giggle than I feel that the faux trailer was quite successful. But when you get your hands on a masterpiece like the 'Avengers '78' faux trailer.... well, this is the stuff that legends are made of. I am not sure who created the faux trailer, but  it was posted on Quarv's Youtube page. They take all of the footage from the old fashioned 70s/80s Marvel TV series & films and mold them into a solid promo for a CBS Movie of the Week. Watch Ferigno and the rest of the Marvel gang show the current crop of Avengers how it is done. And you gotta love the Hawkeye cameo, not to mention the choice of villain... watch it after the jump and enjoy!!!!
