Steampunk Star Wars, Done Right by Bjornn Hurri

Star Wars is definitely one of the more popular topics of fan art... everyone likes taking their own try at re-designing classic characters such as Chewbacca or Yoda. The Steam Punk variety of these re-creations seem to become more and more popular lately. But when an artist comes through with designs as cool as these, they deserve to be highlighted. Artist Bjornn Hurri has done just that, and this gallery is sick!!!! Since Luke, R2D2 & Darth Vader are missing I would venture to guess that Hurri is not done yet. Click after the jump to see all of your favorite characters from a galaxy far, far away given the old Steam Punk once over...

Clinton Felker Shows Us What Feudal Japan Would Look Like In A Galaxy Far, Far Away

I have seen many artists try to add the feudal Japan twist to the members of the Star Wars community, but I can't remember ever seeing a complete group that nailed it as well as Clinton Felker's bunch does. He gets the samurai & bushido stylings of the era down pat and completely kills this series of paintings. Not only do you get to peruse these wonderful pictures here on CCD, but if you click here you can even follow the links to purchase  these pieces for your own collection. Just hurry up before Mr. Buzzkill himself George Lucas gets wind of these...

This Hunter Never Stood A Chance....

Click after the jump for a bigger version of the pic "Hunter In Dagobah" and more information.

Check out this Star Wars/Predator mash-up entitled "Hunter In Dagobah" by Spanish artist Joshue Matamaros. You all know that Yoda don't play no games (the best part of Attack of the Clones was Yoda getting bizrock with his light saber), but here he dismantles one of the universes deadliest hunters with relative ease.

Aliens vs Yoda by Toby Carr

This was too good not to post, despite my self imposed Star Wars ban here at CCD... Fuck George Lucas, I love Star Wars. Toby Carr outdid himself. Excellent...
