This Is How CCD Does Valentines Day: The Geekiest Valentines Ever!

This is how CCD does Valentines Day... we geek it out! These cards were collected from various outlets around the Internet and I honestly believe that these are the best ways for a fellow geek to express his love to his significant other. Gone are the days when geeks couldn't get any chicks... now they like us just as much as the jocks! Enjoy these and feel free to steal 'em and print 'em up on your Dot Matrix printer!

Comic Hero Romances: A Video by Exophrine

Another month, another cool ass video from my boy Dave and the Exophrine team. In the past they have taken on cars, guns, and all sorts of other topics, but this month Exophrine is taking a look at some of the greatest romances to ever grace the comic book movie screen. To be honest, romance in comic book movies is just as important as villians and plot points... the significant other (and rescuing of that other) has long been a returning trope, so it's great that Dave chose to focus on that. Enjoy the video after the jump, and go over to Exophrine and show the guys some love. Tell em CCD sent ya....

'I'd Buy That...As a Tee!' Vol 30

Always on the look out for inspiring art... emblazoned across the chest of humanity. Here's some of the t-shirts I have my eye on to do just the trick but, there's only one problem....they aren't for sale yet! Please click the links below to the Threadless.com voting pages for each and give these beauties '5' ratings so I can throw 'em on my charge card one day.

**Please click READ MORE for tee-licious tees!**

'An Elegant Weapon For A More Civilized Age'.....build your weapon wisely, Jedi!

It's been a while since I've seen 'Woody Woodpecker' and this design brought a smile to my beak. Ha-Ha Ha Ha- Ha!

'Hello Doctor'...nerds rejoice! A Hello Kitty/Dr. Who mash-up!....with cuddly results.

I woulda rocked the crap outta 'Shoulder Holster'  when I was a little soldier in the 80's. I'd do it now...but definitely not at airports.

Love a good Asian-on-Asian scene...and 'Ultra Mario vs. Bowsilla' does just the trick.....with a Super Mario/Godzilla mash-up! Run for your Rives!

'Bearded Dragon' holds a sexual reference within it somewhere but I just can't put my sword on it at the moment. Great beard, though.

Never a slave to fashion, Jabba the Hutt is currently on a highly regimented workout trying to impress the latest palace slave-girl in 'Fashion Victim'

Disney theme park take note: I would SO ride.....'Hi-Tech Bumper Cars'! You own the rights...you GOT this!

'Everyone's Cooler When They're Dead' Truer words have never been spoken. Some of these guys couldn't catch a break from the general public before they was dead...now they living-dead and everybody on 'em.

I love a good Disney piece and 'Mickey Mock' is no exception. Mickey's been skinned alive and left for living-dead in this, not-so kid friendly, cartoon homage.

My favorite this week is a little 8bit number called 'Pixel Heroes' . All your favorite super heroics are represented here it their more basic of forms....though you might need to click the link to Threadless to actually see them in all their glory.

'Til next time many-tee lovers! Remember tee vote!

Supreme Super Heroes by Stefani Rennee

God knows we love us some super heroes here at CCD. Some might say we are obsessed. But one of the coolest things for me is seeing artists take on certain characters and put their own individual spin on them. I came across Stefani Rennee's work over at Rampaged Reality, and once I looked into her Deviant Art page I was blown away by how insane her work was. These pieces are just gorgeous, and they put a classical twist to some of your favorite characters... these are just great! I also like that she chose to include some more obscure characters, such as Constantine and Miss Marvel. Click after the jump to see the ones that I liked best...

Constantine

The Green Lantern Corps.

Jean Grey

Magneto

Nightwing

The Amazing Spider Woman

Superman

The New Avengers

Cap vs Hydra

Miss Marvel
