Making a Murderer on Netflix is literally ruining my life. I am OBSSESSED with the latest "Netflix & Chill" binge-worthy show and  I am not ashamed to say it. Them boys over at the Red Envelope have truly hit a homer with this one... and as soon as I was done I was pacing, thinking about when the next round of material in this new obsession would be coming my way! Since the first season just dropped on Dec 18th, I am assuming it might be a while before we see Lieutenant Lenk and his band of blood planting buffoons terrorize the Avery family again... so I turned to the Internet for an answer. And as per usual... the Internet NEVER DISAPPOINTS! Without any further ado, here is the Top 10 'Making a Murderer' themed memes that the 'Net has to offer! 

Inspector Gadget Returns Via Netflix... Oh Boy!

Netflix is pretty amazing, and their original programming has been pretty spot on over the past few months. House of Cards Season 3 was boss, Marco Polo was pretty great, and The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is fucking hilarious. But their newest foray into exclusive programming has 80 babies like myself kind of excited. Inspector Gadget was one of my favorite cartoons as a kid, you just had to love the goofiness of it. It reminded me a lot of the Pink Panther movies starring Peter Sellers. Penny and Brain the dog were the real detectives, while bumbling Inspector Gadget meandered around NOT solving crimes. Dr. Claw was an amazing villain, and who didn't love all the cool stuff the Inspector had in his hat/coat arsenal? A Helicopter Hat... wait, what? This show was fantastic. A few years back in Australia a company called DHX Media created a new series of cartoons continuing the story, and Netflix has acquired the complete series for exclusive streaming. I am not to big of a fan of the CGI cartoons nowadays, but I am willing to give it a shot... I owe it to my 5 year old self. Kate Mara, Will You Be My Valentine?

Let me get this out of the way right from the start... Kate Mara is a hot little piece of ass. I am not trying to be disrespectful, I am just calling it like I see it. I just did a marathon viewing of House of Cards in 2 sessions (6 episodes one day, 7 the next) and I am all in. Spacey & Robin Wright kill, and Doug Stamper is one of my favorite characters on TV. But its the little tawdry Miss Mara that I can't get enough off. I was rooting for her early in season 1 to become the big shot at the Washington Herald, and by the end I was truly despising the conniving douche she had evolved too... but that made me realize just how good of a job she is doing! This kid is great. And she has a hot new GQ spread to get you ready for Season 2 of House of Cards, availble TODAY on Netflix Instant Streaming. Now that is what I call a Valentines Day present! Marvel & Netflix Team Up To Change The Game

Good lord... this is a true game changer! Marvel and Netflix have agreed to team up in one of the most ambitious ventures ever announced. The two industry titans have decided to come together and produce 4 individual 13 episode television shows based on the characters of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Power Man & Iron Fist... and then a Defenders mini series highlighting all four characters!!! Holyyyyyy SHIT!!! Are you kidding me? All four series will be set in Hell's Kitchen, NY and will be based in the same universe as the Marvel Cinematic Universe as well as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as well. Good god... the best part is they say "a minimum of four" live action series... could even be more!!! The plan is to unroll the shows in 2015, and given the recent success with Netflix original programming (Orange is the New Black, House of Cards, etc) and everything live action Marvel (movies & the SHIELD TV show) this should go over swimmingly. Plus, I really dig the idea of getting 13 episodes to explore each character in full detail. Than we can bring them all together... wow. This can be so great, and think about how many villains, lesser characters and cameos we can plan on seeing. Check out the full press release after the jump...

This new original TV deal follows last year's landmark movie distribution deal through which, beginning with 2016 theatrically released feature films, Netflix will be the exclusive U.S. subscription television service for first-run, live-action and animated movies from the Walt Disney Studios, including titles from Disney, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Marvel Studios, Disneynature and Lucasfilm.  Netflix members can currently enjoy a wide range of Disney, ABC TV and Disney Channel films and shows across the 41 countries where Netflix operates

"It's The Final Countdown..." - Arrested Development Season 4 Goes Live in 3,2,1...

I think I have been doing a pretty good job by my standards of not over-hyping the arrival of Season 4 of Arrested Development on Netflix. No one is more excited than me, and I have just finished a marathon re-watch of the shows 3 seasons as well as celebrated with Tommy Lombardozzi & Cousin Stevie in our first annual "Arrested Development Luncheon" complete with chocolate covered bananas and seals wearing ties (OK, maybe there were no seals in ties... but who cares really?). So now that we are only three days away from the shows new season going live on May 26th, I think it may be time to celebrate just how excited I really am. I am so excited, I think I just Blue myself (hahaha... inside jokes abound). So lets just get to the meat and potatoes of it all... here is the Season 4 extended trailer! Complete with Buster's hook hand, Pop Pop's hi jinks  George Michael's awkwardness, martial bliss between Lindsay and Tobias, Gob performing an illusion in a toga, Lucille being psychologically terrifying, and Michael just being Michael aka taking everyone's bullshit and cleaning it up!!!! Over A Dozen New Posters For The New Season Of 'Arrested Development' Highlight Past Great Gags From The Show....

I am currently re-watching Arrested Development on Netflix in preperation of the upcoming season 4 of the show that will be premiering on May 26th. Any fan of the show knows that it is a plethora of wink wink moments and one liners that a true fan of the show giggles at every time someone brings it up. The whole crux of the humor on the show hinge on these moments, objects, and situations.... and it is truly a inside joke-fest for all those in on the situation. Given the fact that the whole purpose of Season 4 is to set up the feature length film for the show, I am sure we are going to be treated to many more of these inside jokes. But in order to promote the new show, they are breaking out the old gags to try an hook the former audience back in for one last hurrah. Any fan of the show will love these awesome posters. Disney Joins Forces With Netflix... Bring It On!!!!

This is one of the greatest pieces of news to come out of the Netflix camp in the history of the company. Disney has had a limited partnership with Netflix Streaming over the past few years, and I have watched a few movies (Princess & The Frog comes to mind) from the studio on the service. But now Netflix has locked up this partnership for the better part of the rest of the decade, and Disney is bringing along the newly acquired Marvel Films & Star Wars franchises along for the ride. How fucking cool is this? First up, I can't wait to eventually watch Clone Wars on Streaming. Secondly, this provides Disney with an outlet for movies that they have put in the Vault, which sucks if you miss out on buying one of these films when they are released shortly. Not to mention Avengers on repeat... yeah buddy! These changes will begin right away, with films like Dumbo, Alice In Wonderland, and Pocahontas starting to stream shortly and more titles to follow over the next few years. Netflix Inc. (Nasdaq:NFLX) and The Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS) today announced a new multi-year licensing agreement that will make Netflix the exclusive U.S. subscription television service for first-run live-action and animated feature films from The Walt Disney Studios.

Beginning with its 2016 theatrically released feature films, new Disney, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Marvel Studios and Disneynature titles will be made available for Netflix members to watch instantly in the pay TV window on multiple platforms, including television, tablets, computers and mobile phones. Also included in the agreement are high-profile Disney direct-to-video new releases, which will be made available on Netflix starting in 2013.

Separately, Disney and Netflix have reached agreement on a multi-year catalog deal that today brings to U.S. Netflix members such beloved Disney movies such as “Dumbo,” “Pocahontas” and “Alice in Wonderland.”

“Disney and Netflix have shared a long and mutually beneficial relationship and this deal will bring to our subscribers, in the first pay TV window, some of the highest-quality, most imaginative family films being made today,” said Ted Sarandos, Chief Content Officer at Netflix. “It’s a bold leap forward for Internet television and we are incredibly pleased and proud this iconic family brand is teaming with Netflix to make it happen.”

“With this cutting-edge agreement, we are thrilled to take our highly valued relationship with Netflix to the next level by adding Disney’s premier films to their programming line-up,” said Janice Marinelli, President, Disney-ABC Domestic Television. “Netflix continues to meet the demands of its subscribers in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, and we are delighted that they will have much earlier access to our top-quality and entertaining slate,” she continued.Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.  

Arrested Development Cast: Reunited!!!!!

Arrested Development is one of the best shows that not a lot of people have ever seen. It is madness to me that more people haven't watched this amazing show, but truth is if the show had more viewers then it would have never left the air in the first place. But with a rebirth on the horizon (albeit via Netflix Instant Streaming), Entertainment Weekly decided to include the cast in its annual Reunion Issue. This issue is one of my faves of the year because they reunite classic casts of TV shows & movies that we all love. But this is one of the first times a cast has been included and the show is still going to add new episodes. Netflix Instant Streaming Recommendations: You Need To check These Choices Out

I have long been a supporter of the Netflix Instant Streaming service. With growing competition in the form of other services like Amazon Prime & Hulu Plus, you would think Netflix's time in the sun has come and gone. Fortunately, that is not the case at all. The content available on netflix expands every week and is getting better and better, and and with a price of just $7.99 a month it is a freaking steal. I have been working a lot lately and finally had a day to sit down and watch some of the films in my queue, so here are my most recent recommendations to you. I enjoyed these choices very much, and you probably will too... check out my picks after the jump....

1) The Snowtown Murders - 2011 - This grizzled piece of Australian film making takes a look into the case of John Bunting, the main participant in a series of real life murders that took place in Australia back in the 90s. The case is one of the worst crimes in the history of Australia and this film does a great job showing you why. Gritty and very graphic, the film takes you on a trip into the mind of a psycho. If you like true crime movies, this is a must see for you. It also helped that Aaron Hillis screened the film over at ReRun Theater (one of my favorite places on Earth) in Brooklyn last year, and his taste in film is pretty fucking great. One of the better foreign independant films I have seen in a while...

2) Haywire -2011 - This is one of those films that I really wanted to check out in the theater and just never got around to. MMA fighter Gina Carano is perfect for the role of a female special agent who is good at wetworks and tying up loose ends. But what makes this film so great is that Stephen Soderberg directs it with the same style and panache that I have come to expect from his films. The fonts used in the headings and title card/credits, the music, and the overall awesome tone of the film make this one a must see. Add in a spectacular supporting cast of film legends like Michael Douglas, Antonio Banderas, Bill Pullman and Ewan Mcgregor with newly minted stars like Channing Tatum & Michael Fassbender and you have an excellent female Bourne/Bond type movie that does not disappoint.  

3) Supernatural - 2005 to the present (7 seasons, #8 on the way) - This is my current TV project that I am working on. Tara and I always pick out shows that have a ton of episodes to knock off, and this one is no joke. 126 episodes (seasons 1-6) are currently available on Netflix Instant and the 7th season from last year will probably hit around the time Season 8 premieres on the CW sometime in the next month. This show follows the exploits of brothers Dean & Sam Winchester as they fight all types of evil baddies in a quest they were put on by their dad at a very young age. The effects are great, the cast is likable, and the action is both non-stop and scary.... which is not something you get from a regular network TV show all the time. All the types of monsters, ghosts, and other baddies are given the unique treatment on this show and if you are a fan of horror like I am you will love it. I am currently wrapping up Season 2 right now and moving ahead at a pretty rapid pace. You should get started too...
