On The 8th Day of Christmas, CCD Gave To Me....

.... Arrow's sidekick/main chick Felicity! Emily Bett Rikards is the hottest nerd girl in the world right now. She is extremely recognizable for her integral role on the hit CW show Arrow as Felicity Smoak, Oliver Queen's main squeeze. She was originally only supposed to be on one episode... and that was parlayed into a full first season guest staring role and a full time starring role moving forward from season 2. She was getting cozy with Atom at first... but now she is with the Arrow baby! It helps that she is a smoke show (or should I say "SMOAK SHOW"... see what I did there?) and that her quip games is strong (she is the funniest character on the show). That is what we here at CCD love about a lady that makes our 12 Days of Christmas-y Sexy list!

... Sara Under The TREE! Sara Underwood is about as sexy as one could be. And the coolest part is that she keeps finding a way to make herself relevant. After being the Playmate of the Year in 2007, she has hosted shows (on Attack of the Show she was Olivia Munn's replacement!), become Insta famous (check out her feed), and made herself the sexy spokeswoman for the nerd community. Her cosplay, game playing, and all around nerdy pursuits make her a gift that we certainly wouldn't mind unwrapping!

.... a Heptathelete!!!! What the hell is a Heptathelete you ask? Well... it is someone who competes in the Heptathlon, which is an Olympic event that has 7 specific events: Hurdles, High Jump, Shot Putt, 200 Meter, Long Jump, Javelin, 800 Meter. Yup, it takes a special kind of woman to be fit enough to compete in all those events! Enter Louise Hazel, England's hottest Olympian... who happens to be on again/off again with Magneto himself, Michael Fassebender! If she is good enough for that guy and his huge penis... good enough for us! Merry X-Mas!!!

What a perfect way to celebrate Star Wars day today. These propaganda posters started popping up all over Brooklyn and are hastagged #DarkSideNYC... they gotta be legit from LucasFilms/Disney, right? Maybe not... but they certainly are funny! And interesting modern day twist on Master Yoda's famous quote to Luke from Empire Strikes Back:

.... Our favorite model, Cara D!!!! Cara Delevingne is the hottest model in the game... and she also seems to have the most fun! She is always clowning around on social media, living life to the fullest and smiling every pic I see her in! Her famous eyebrows and tattooed fingers are so unique, and her personality makes her stand out in an industry filled with beautiful people. There are many cuties in modeling, but none have as complete of a package a Cara. I am very eager to see how she transitions into her acting career (I dug her Paper Towns) and anything else she does...

The CCD Podcast: Episode #84 - The Greatest Day to Be a Star Wars Fan

There are days in all people lives that stand out as moments that you can never forget... they are referred to as 'touchstones', an unforgettable mix of emotions that mere mention of causes you to be back at the moment instantly. I may only be 36, but I have a few of these moments. The minutes leading up to the screening of Return of the Jedi back in the day... watching Ghostbusters at Crossbay I with my pops, checking out the Phantom Menace with Sam down in Miami. these were all touchstone moments for me. And I am not sure, but I think I am about to have one again. As we stand here on the verge of the release of The Force Awakens, I am simply ready to be over-whelmed. I am eager to have these memories etched in my head forever. And this day... the last day BEFORE the movie comes out, will forever be remembered as "Star Wars Eve"!
