Fab Ciraolo has a very unique style to his art. It is batshit crazy... and that is what makes it so fantastic. Fab takes very familiar characters (some real life people, some fictional) and portrays them in a different light. A light that may not be what you expect. When I think Beetlejuice I think a black and white striped suit. He Man, bearskin draws and his chest straps jump into my head. Marilyn Monroe is always in a puffy dress in my head. Mother Teresa is always in a habit... But not in the world of Fab Ciraolo. here, Frankenstien is a part animal club kid. Marilyn & Mother Teresa are hipster chicks with tats. Beetlejuice channels his inner James Dean. He-Man is an avid golfer. These are so great. The Huntress & The Huntress Returns by Carlos Valenzuela

I love me some Deviant Art, and you do come across some really cool things when perusing the things that are posted on there. One of the cool things I came across this week comes to us from Chile, in the way of artist Carlos Valenzuela. He has created two awesome vintage movie posters for films that would have featured pin-up superstar Marilyn Monroe facing off against the the classic Universal Monsters. Check out the posters for The Huntress (Monroe takes on Drac, Wolfman, and Frankenstein) and The Huntress Returns (with Monroe taking on The Creature from the Black Lagoon). Michelle Williams Brings A Bit Of Marilyn To GQ

Michelle Williams has really come a long way from her days co satrring with The Dawson and Pacey over on the WB. She has made some phenomenal films over the past few years that have garnered both critical and commercial success. She also was thrust into the spotlight when her husband and baby daddy Heath ledger past away due to a drug overdose. Yet she has handled herself like a true woman and classy celebrity, and those types of qualities are few and far between in Hollywood today. In anticipation of her upcoming  (possibly Oscar bait) movie "My Week with Marilyn" GQ Magazine sat down with the lovely Williams and made her the cover girl for February 2012.
