Who's Ready To Bust Some Ghosts With BBQ Films & CCD?

Yeah boy, it is that time again! BBQ Films is gearing up for their next immersive cinematic event, and this time they need YOU to help out with their biggest challenge yet... Are you guys ready to bust some ghosts???

BBQ Films is back with their next great event, a recreation of the famed Ghostbusters Headquarters from the Sony Pictures film franchise! The BBQ crew will be bringing you into the world of Ghostbusters by completely recreating the famed HQ of the team. And the best part is that they are recruiting new members... think you got what it takes to bust some ghosts with the big boys?

This is one of the biggest events BBQ has ever done, and CCD is happy to be a part of the team behind this amazing event. The show will take place at the Villain event space in Williamsburg, Brooklyn over an astounding 4 DAYS!!!! The quest for new Ghostbusters begins on Wednesday June 8th at 7 pm and will continue with 7pm showtimes on Thursday and Friday. On Saturday there will be a special matinee ALL AGES show starting at 1 pm... and a finale Saturday night performance at 7pm! That is 5 different chances for you to come down and join the squad... what do you say? Tickets are available HERE.

• Hi-C Ecto Cooler is back, and Hi-C is an official sponsor of the event. That means all the delicious cocktails and drinks being served will have that neon green drink at their core!
•  A screening of the 1984 classic Sony Film Ghostbusters on a HUGE screen
• Tutorials on ghost capture by paranormal specialists in order to train a new team of Ghostbusters
• One of CCD's own artists will be on site to record one of a kind eyewitness sketches of ghost descriptions from guests at the show... and you get to KEEP the original drawings!

BBQ Films & The Deets Family Need Your Help... Only You Can Stop The Wedding of Beetleguese & Lydia!

Anyone worth their weight in sandworms knows the Tim Burton classic film Beetlejuice back and forth... it is a classic 80s film that hardly anyone can find a negative word to say about. So when BBQ Films was looking for a film to be the next subject of one of their wildly interactive film screenings, it seemed like a no-brainer that this piece of celluloid perfection be the choice! After some brainstorming sessions over pizza and wine ( I was there... both were plentiful!) and careful planning, another exciting event is ready to go! These are the guys & gals who brought you the Back to the Future/Enchantment Under the Sea Dance, The Blade Blood Rave and American Psycho's own Patrick Bateman's 27th Bday Party... So what will it be this time? Well.... they desperately need your help to STOP the nuptials of a nasty denizen of netherworld and a confused Gothic teenager! Check out the details after the jump...

On Saturday March 19th and Sunday March 20th BBQ Films is inviting you (actually pleading with you!) to come on down to the House of Yes in Brooklyn, NY to stop the nuptials of Beetleguese & the lovely Lydia Deets. There will be a full on screening of the film, interactive actors and actresses bringing the film to life, and will be accompanied by all types of Beetlejuice themed shenanigans as only the crew of BBQ Films can bring! There will be an undead photo booth, a limited edition film poster, gourmet popcorn, and even a chance for members of the wedding party (the VIP ticket holders) to be married by the monstrous wedding officiant themselves!!! There will be awesome sets and scenery recreating all of the familiar images from Burton's awesomely visual film, and refreshments that will channel the best memories we have of the Ghost with the Most!

The Avengers x S.H.I.E.L.D. Invade NYC With The 'Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N' Installation...

Marvel has wowed us on both the big screen and small this year, and its comics still aren't so shabby either... yet these cats still find new and exciting ways to wow us. No, I am not talking about Guardians of the Galaxy, the upcoming Netflix collabs, or the Agent Carter TV show. Nope... I'm talking a real life display museum, right here in the heart of NYC, that shares all the cool props and sets we have fell in love with over the past decade. Marvel's 'Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N.' (Science Training and Tactical Intelligence Operative Network) is set to open at Discovery Time Square soon (it has been delayed... but a press tour was given). You get an interactive museum experience that reminds me of Captain America 2, complete with set reproductions, artifacts and props, and costumes right out of the films. Chris Welch of The Verge got a chance to visit the exhibit, and his camera was poppin off to capture all the highlights.
