The Incredible, Edible Sushi Art Project...

Sushi is one of my personal favorite foods, and I for one can eat it multiple times in one week. The reasoning behind that is because there are so many different things one could order from the typical sushi menu. One thing is certain, and that is the process of constructing a properly arranged sushi roll is an art form. I don't mean this just figuratively... I mean it literally. Especially in the case of sushi chef/artist Takayo Kiyota, the woman whose exquisite sushi creations are popping up all over the Internet. Kiyota constructs these magically tasty creations in her mind... but what is most impressive is that they are surrounded in seaweed and their true nature is not seen until they are sliced. So not only is she amazing at constituting these creations, but she is doing it with edible ingredients blindly and they are turning out fantastic! You gotta be impressed by these, whether you are a fan of sushi or not. You can check out Takayo's website by clicking here (it is in Japanese, but has many pics!) and you can see my faves after the jump...
