One Of The Funniest Christmas Scenes In The History Of Cinema
I love all of Chevy Chase's movies from the 1980's... god, was he funny or what? Fletch, Caddyshack, Vacation.... the list goes on and on. One of my faves was Funny Farm, in which Chase plays a big time city sportswriter who moves to a big house in the country with his wife. They want out of the city, and want a taste of rural life. To bad the country folks don't want their city friends to move into town!!! Life is hard for the couple, and eventually they agree they made a bad choice in moving there. They decide to sell the house, and enlist the help of their scumbag country bumpkin neighbors to paint a pretty picture of the town for the potential buyers. If they comply, Chase agrees to pay them. Not only do these fucks comply, they turn the village into a Christmas paradise. Check out the scene in its completion:
