Last night was the 1st night of Hanukkah for 2010, so we here at CCD thought we would hit our Jewish brethren with two clips celebrating the Jewish holiday season, one new & one old. First the new. Check out this take on the Taio Cruz song "Dynamite" by The Maccabeats, entitled "Candlelight (I Flip My Latkes In The Air Sometimes)". You can't make this shit up:
Now, for an oldie but goodie. One of the best episodes of Friends ever has to be the episode in which Ross tries to teach his son Ben about Hanukkah... but everything goes horribly wrong. Needless to say, you get a funny ass episode filled with armadillo costumes, stories about the Maccabees, and even Superman. Hysterical... here are the highlights:
CCD wishes all of Jewish readers a very Happy Hanukkah... now go get yourself some latkes & matzo ball soup and spin that dradel till your wrist gets sore!!!
We all love the Maccabeats (and I'm friends with some of them, actually!) but check out ANOTHER fantastic Chanukah parody-song video entitled:

Very cool Chana... please let the fellas from the Maccabeats know we posted their song (and tell them to become followers on the blog please!!!). By the way, are you a follower here on CCD? Just sign up in The CCD Support group section!!!! We love our comments... tell your friends!
ReplyDeleteOMG, the "Holiday Armadillo" -- that is one of my personal top five episodes of FRIENDS. (I adored FRIENDS and am still pissed at the channel that took it out of reruns in my neck of the woods in favor of FAMILY GUY.) All the recurrent jokes in that episode, like Chandler trying to figure out how to casually hand off money to someone else...what an episode!
