Big Bird, Oscar The Grouch & Gary Gnu... CCD Meets The Puppets Of Our Childhood @ The 2010 NYC Comic Con

The first stop the CCD crew made on its trip to the 2010 NYC Comic Con was at the table of Caroll Spinney and Jim Martin. Now you guys may not know who those guys are, but I gurantee you know exactly who the characters they played are. Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch have been brought to life for over 40 years by Spinney, and Martin was everyones favorite newscaster Gary Gnu from The Great Space Coaster. Being heroes of our childhood, it was a no brainer to stop by their table and chat with the fellas. Check out Tommy L as he interviews two guys who influenced his childhood immensely:

They were at the show to promote the ToonSeum in Pittsburg, PA. The ToonSeum is an anamation museum that seems to be a great reason to head down to Pittsburg and see some great stuff. We are planning our trip now. Caroll Spinney's own art show will be beginning on Nov 6th and running through January, so make sure you guys get down their and show some support. Thanks alot to both Jim & Caroll for allowing us the time to get our interview, and thanks especially to Caroll for the signed pics. You can check out more information on the ToonSeum by clicking here. CCD and Sesame Street: Thats one hell of a combo!!!
