Netflix Live Streaming Finally Comes To The Wii...

I think this picture says it best... after a long wait, the Nintendo Wii has finally joined the PS3 and Xbox 360 with live streaming of movies on the gaming console. Like the PS3, a free disc from Netflix is required to watch the on demand style flicks, but the disk is free and takes 1 day to recieve. For just $8.99 per month you can enjoy thousands of movies on demand as well as 1 movie out at a time through the mail. I just signed up, and boy am I excited to start watching... go to Netflix right now and get 1 month free. The link is below. Enjoy!!!

  1. This is just another great addition to the Wii.

Only thing that I am 'concerned' about is the quality of the streaming videos. How is it on the PS3/360?

  2. Just so you know, this is the greatest thing to ever happen to the Joneses. We have watched a few movies already on it!

  3. I am soooooo gonna be on this. I just finally got a Wii for Christmas to play 'The New Super Mario Bros' (side scrolling games are the only ones I like these days, Retro....yes please)I was thinking about getting an PS3 just for 'Little Big Planet' and the streaming Netflix. But, now you just saved me 300plus bucks. I'll just stream on the Wii. The only downside I here is that they don't offer ALL the movies that are physically available thru Netflix but, I suppose it's just a matter of time.

  4. Super Mario Bros Wii is fantastic. It really brought back the retro gaming. But if you value your relationship with your spouse, girlfriend or friend, then do not play coop with them. Katie and I almost got a divorce because of the co-op play.

On another Super Mario note...Super Mario Galaxy 2 come out at the end of May. If you have not played the original Super Mario Bros, then drop everything immediately and play it.
