She recently recreated the comic cover of The Amazing Spiderman #601. She might have even sexed up the cover a bit, if that is even possible. God damn that Peter Parker is a lucky dude. Even Though It Is Meant For Europe, Promotions Like These Scare Me...

I am looking forward to this summers Spider-Man reboot from director Marc Webb that is starring Andrew Garfield & Emma Stone. It looks to have been done very well, and the action scenes seem to be right on the money. But sometimes a films success is won or lost with the marketing campaign... just ask the people behind John Carter (a great movie that got smacked around cause it was promoted wrong). So far the gang controlling Spider-Man promotion here in the USA seem to be doing a great job... but how about their overseas counterparts? OHC of the Day: Chelan Simmons

OHC stands for 'Obscure Hot Chick' of the day... just another beautiful actress that you may or may not know of yet... but, we are sure you will soon. Today's beauty is, blonde bombshell, Chelan Simmons


None of you will remember her as Laurie Smith in The TV mini-series 'It' based on Stephen King's novel of the same name... even though the series was phenomenal, when she was but 8 years of age. Since then, Ms. Simmons has been forgettable in roles on TV shows such as 'Smallville', 'Supernatural', 'Stargate: Atlantis' but it wasn't 'til her topless death scene at the hands of a faulty tanning bed in the perennial hit, 'Final Destination 3' did the world start to take notice.  Since than she has had some other featured TV roles and than landed a great naked bj scene opposite Dane Cook in 'Good Luck Chuck'. Things are about to really pay off for this beauty though. You can catch her now in the fan boy acclaimed 'Tucker & Dale vs. Evil' and then in 2013 she's webbed herself a role in 'The Amazing Spider-Man' scheduled for next Summer.

The Dark Knight Rises by Sean Hartter

This is a great piece from friend of CCD and amazing artist Sean Hartter that has us looking forward to the summer of 2012. Hartter promised an 'Amazing Spider-Man' & 'The Avengers' one as well, completing the trifecta of superhero movies for next year. I can't wait!!!

The 'Amazing Spider-Man' Trailer Jacked A Video Game... Wow!

 

When I saw the recently released Amazing Spider-Man trailer, I was really blown away by the final 30 seconds of it. That is when the camera took a "Web-Eye" view of the action from Spider-Man's perspective and jumped across rooftops while swinging around town. It was awesome. But, you can't pull one over on the geek patrol... oh no you didn't!!! Seems that Marc Webb and his gang straight up jacked a cut-action sequence from the 2008 video game 'Mirror's Edge'. Did they really think they would get away this? In this day and age? With these maniac geeks scrutinizing every little detail of a movie that is coming out NEXT YEAR!!! That is really lame. I am truly disappointed... oh well. Lets hope they don't fuck up anything else. Nice work CVG.

'The Amazing Spider-Man' Trailer Hits... So What Do You Think?

Sometime yesterday afternoon the Amazing Spider-Man trailer hit, making it the third superhero movie (the leaked Avengers preview and The Dark Knight) that will not be out until next summer to release a trailer now. I am getting a bit tired of following all of this nonsense of talking about movies that are a year or more away from coming out, so I have not been covering all the news on these releases even though they interest me. Yet this trailer intrigues me because it showed 2:30 minutes of footage, and most of it was ACTUAL FOOTAGE. Bravo to Marc Webb and the team behind the Spidey reboot for putting out a trailer that ACTUALLY has images from the movie for me to get excited about. Chris Nolan may want to go the whole dark & mysterious route with a trailer full of whispering and old footage from his first two movies, but other then the 1 second shot of Bane's mask we saw NOTHING NEW. In this Spider-Man clip we get to see Andrew Garfield as both Peter Parker and Spidey, the sexy Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, and lots of the supporting cast. We also get to see the unique "Spidey's Eye View" perspective of Spider-Man swinging around that was absent from the Raimi movies. It's puts you right in the action. So what do you think?
