I have often admired the many zanny art show themes that are put forth by
Gallery 1988 in California... but due to logistical locational limitations (say that three times fast!) , aka the gallery is in California & I live in New York, I have never been ale to get out and see one of their shows for myself. but all of that comes to an end tonight as I plan on attending the opening night at the first show in NYC today! The gallery is opening up a pop up store at 64 Ganservoort St tonight at 6pm and the show runs until September 1st. The pieces are leaking online and look amazing. CCD will be in the house tonight, so come down and meet up with the crew. Check out a few of the pieces I have seen online after the jump to kind of wet your beak and make sure you get out to this show at some point so that we get more of these satellite shows in the future...
Here is the invite:

ReplyDeleteCool show.
ReplyDeleteLooks good. I wish I lived in New York, I bet there's interesting stuff going on all the time. At least, that's the impression I get from movies and TV.
