LEGO Iconic Vol #6 by Jeff Bond

I am such a huge Lego nerd that words can not explain. Soooo I've decided to use my favorite blog site CCD.com as an outlet to get some of this stuff that I see every day, built out of bricks, out of my skull and onto the blogosphere where it can't hurt my cerebral cortex. Each month I'll be posting the best of the best hoping to inspire the Lego maniac in each of you...young and old.  Enjoy!

Orion Pax just CANNOT be stopped when combining Lego with one of favorite childhood toys..The Transformers. You'll remember he was the creator of the transformable 'Shockwave' and 'Optimus' in prior Lego Iconic posts and these two new additions work just as well. Transform...and roll out!

Thire5, Martin Latta, offers up this intricate and merciless 'Terminator' bust with working light-up eyes sure to make you have a major malfunction.

The SignalNoise Store shows us that NOTHING is more Metal than Plastic.... Legos that is! Get this T-shirt design at there shop and be the coolest nerd at the next Ozzfest.

Our pal, ProudLove has created a tonnage of Lego masterworks but these two really stood out to me. What's says American made more than Ford and the Dark Empire!

'Tie vv'
My followers and fellow bloggers loaded up my email box with this gem. A stop-motion animation send up of video game of the season 'Call of Duty Black Ops' entitled Lego Black Ops. Honey...get me my gun, I'm going in!

I love the minds of my Lego Lasses. Female Lego lunatic Annie Diment has created this crew of Loony Tunes inspired pals from my childhood check out all of her inspired work over at Flickr under the pseudonym Mrs. Monster. Bedee Bedee Bedee...that's NOT all folks......

Matt De Lanoy, or Pepa Quin as he is known on Flickr, has been working overtime creating a tiny scale replica of Andy's actual bedroom from Disney's Toy Story. Just check out all the intricate detail! Makes me wish I was tiny. (I know what you're thinking...save it Mr. Mike D!)

When my followers sent me this Youtube link entitles Lego Factory Project v2.0, I couldn't imagine that the 'Lego Factory' in question was actually made of Legos and a fully functioning factory to boot! No words, just Wow!

On Flickr, Alex Eylar aka Profound Whatever has been mimicking some of my TV and film favorites using customized Lego Minifigs and minimal amounts of Lego bricks and accessories. Which are your favorites?

'Tonight's the Night' (Dexter)
'A Clockwork Orange'
'The Shining'
'Electrigy the Boys an Girls If You Could Be So Kind'
(Daft Punk 'Tron Legacy' cameo)
'Raging Bull'
'The Addams Family'
'American Beauty'
'Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid'

Lego Iconic post mainstay, Tyler aka Legohaulic, has created this eerie Haunted House complete with creepy Universal monsters and the passersby that fear them. Be afraid...be very afraid.

Legohaulic is also responsible for this out of this world creation 'Interstellar Criminal Investigator'...

...and this take on the storybook thriller :Little Red Riding Hood

Finally, Legohaulic made great use of the Lego Pharaoh Staff in these two custom Minifig villains in 'Cobra Commander vs. Jafar'

Thanks, in part to the brilliant new 'Pharoah's Quest' line of building sets, builder Andrew Lee or Onosendai2600 as he's known on Flickr has created this great battle scene with the giant embodiment of Anubis!

Thanks to all the Lego enthusiast/friends who forwarded this gem to me this month. The Lego Antikythera Mechanism is a clip found on Youtube that posits the question of how ancient civilizations might have created very technical timekeeping devices while recreating them with Lego. Amazing!

Rong Yiren has these creep-tastic, Tim Burton-esque works for view on Flickr.
