Lego Iconic Vol#2

I am such a huge Lego nerd that words can not explain. Soooo I've decided to use my favorite blog site CCD.com as an outlet to get some of this stuff that I see every day, built out of bricks, out of my skull and onto the blogosphere where it can't hurt my cerebral cortex. Each month I'll be posting the best of the best hoping to inspire the Lego maniac in each of you...young and old.  Enjoy!

Lego and Dr. Who enthusiast McMorran not only created a stupendous little Dr. Who & Tardis but also, took it along with him to the huge BrickCon convention and placed it within other builders' dioramas, with their permission, ofcourse, furthering the good doctor's adventure. Can you locate the Tardis and Doctor in each? Sweet!

A Lego version of the 'Soup Nazi' from the legendary 'Seinfeld' TV show was spotted over at Calvin's Canadaian Cave of Cool Blogspot. No Blocks for you!

A Flickr post from Monsterbrick reimagines the glorious Star Wars Episode IV 'Trench Run' as, simply, a bunch of Lego minis sets.

Monsterbrick also has a creepy human skull made out of Lego Bricks posted as well. Enjoy...or run in horror..either way (shrug).

You'll 'flame on' at these, well, fanatastic 'Fantastic Four' Lego Mini Figs customized by Doug Idle
Tiny little works of art, I say.

Speaking of Mini Figs, Flickr poster MiniBigs has really tapped into my childhood with these custom Minis.
LION-O

Heath Ledger's JOKER

HE-MAN and SKELETOR

WATCHMEN

Our friends at Geekologie put us on to these 'supposed' Lego Mini Figs that have been 'supposedly' adorned with tattoos using only the precision of a PILOT Extra Fine Pen for a recent campaign ad. Turns out the whole thing is pretty much a ruse...but we here at the 'CCD Department of Lego' applaud PILOT's attempt and ultimate success in having the interwebs abuzz with our favorite hobby...LEGO creation of course!
Behold!

Flickr user Ochre Jelly has done a marvelous job recreating the 'Inception' 2nd level dream state hallway scene.

Speaking of the years best film, Lego Flickr contributor Profound Whatever has your Lego 'Inception' fix also.

...as well as his version of the most recent Doctor Who and Tardis

...followed by his take on the recently released stills of the girls from the upcoming 'Sucker Punch' film

That's it for this month, Lego maniacs! I'll be compiling some of my new favorites and getting back at you monthly. Please submit any of your brick findings to me directly at gameplaya112@gmail.com.
