This time of year always brings back memories to childhood. The pressure of filling out your Christmas list, the anticipation of how much of that list would be fulfilled... it was a magical time. The food, the family... all of that contributes to the holiday spirit. But here at the CCD Podcast we feel that there is one other aspect we must focus on... THE FILMS!!!! Christmas movies are a rare breed. If they are great, they get an immortality that is hard to top. Miracle on 34th St... damn, that movie is like 80 years old! But people still love it. So we decided to put together a little list of our favorite Christmas films... with a certain geek flair and fun that we have come to love. And yes, Christmas Vacation is on the list. But what else? .... More Rosie Jones TO SEE!!!! Rosie Jones is one of the best things to come out of England since tea bags. She was Day #10 this year, but that was just a small sample size. This series is MUCH, MUCH better! Enjoy... two more days to Christmas!

On The 4th Day Of Christmas, CCD Gave To Me...

... the cast of TOWIE!!! For those not in the know about the British reality TV show game, TOWIE (The Only Way Is Essex) was Britain's answer to The Hills or the Jersey Shore. It featured young up and coming 20 year olds from Essex, and it has been a staple for the last few years. In the 2011 season the cast recorded a cover of Wham!'s "Last Christmas", and they did a sexy photo shoot to go with it. So even though this is a few years old, I only recently discovered this hotness and I have to share it with all of you... 4 Christmas hotties 4 days before Christmas! Check it out after the jump...

On The 5th Day Of Christmas, CCD Gave To Me...

... 5 (x 2) Pics of T!!!!! For the seminal Day 5, we gotta shake off all the haters and go with T Swift. She is such a classic beauty, and the scary part is that she is still quite young and has many many years ahead of her. I also love her willingness to show her silly side, and the fact that she embraces her younster age bracket despite the fact that she is a MEGA star. Such a cutie, and she seems like a great person as well. Check it all out after the jump, and tune back in the next couple of days for the final 4 spots!

The CCD Podcast: Episode #37 - The Definitive Tolkien Film Retrospective Pt. 3 or "Damn This Has Been A Long Ass Retrospective... Are We Done Yet!!!"

So another great CCD Retrospective finally comes to an end (this one was a long, arduous journey just like the ones taken in the films!) and we use this third episode of the series to discuss the existing first two Hobbit films and talk about the anticipation of the third film that will cap off the film series. Jedi Rob, Joe Milazzo and Mike D are back for one more go round, and we discuss the highs and lows that Peter Jackson second trilogy go through. Whether you like the Hobbit films more than LOTR or less than LOTR you will definitely love to listen to what we have to say about everything. A perfect end to a fantastic look back at a great film franchise... check it out after the jump!
